Well I bit the bullet and ordered everything I need. Should be here early next week.
To begin with I've gone for one shot concentrates but once I get to grips with it I'll be trying some of the recipes in the mixology section.

Apparently so haha. You screw it together from the top down so Lid to chimney, glass in, then screw to the base otherwise the inner bits don't always screw in tight enough and juice gets into the chimney section.

I'm reading up now. It looks like maybe I need to screw it together in a different order to make sure juice doesn't get into the chimney. At this point it is worth a try because I have been covered in juice three times today :-(

Yes I did, this is more than just a little bit of initial leaking after filling it. It looked fine after I filled it, left it to stand, started cleaning up and when I turned back it was sat in a puddle.
The cotton is nowhere near the airflow either i'm making sure of that.

What am I doing wrong? I have tried more cotton, less cotton, cutting it on a 45 degree angle, fluffing it up. No matter what I try it just leaks and if I can get it to not leak it is dry hitting! I am so sick of leaky tanks! If anyone manages to invent a tank that doesn't leak they should be instantly made president of the world! Sorry for the rant, I am just really, really frustrated!

We vape at 3mg so that obviously keeps the nic cost down Doing my own very crude calculations even using T-juice I get it in at under £1 for 10ml. I don't need to factor in bottles just yet though, as we have saved all the 10ml bottles from the store bought juice haha

Thank you, it's his favourite juice but he went to the vape shop after work yesterday and it's gone up from £4.25 for 10ml to £4.75!

It's like a blue drink with an icy menthol finish to it. I'm thinking blue raspberry, koolada and a tiny touch of menthol might be an adequate substitute.

I thought it'd probably cost about £1-£1.50 per 10ml depending on the cost of the base concentrates.
We are currently paying £4.50 per 10ml so it will represent a massive saving really.
