Yeah, I think it was designed and built by a polish guy and they only made limited numbers

Mark , I have a whole bunch of pre-made wires ... I'm sure it's operator error but I just struggle to get the bloody thing to work ... It may have something to do with my magneto going nuclea and boiling shit out of it and maybe ruining the ceramics ... Either way .. I'm done with it ... It's got such nice externals I'd just like to find a way to use it without using the ceramic internal build Thanks for the advice mate

But ... Yes you are right ... Their coils are micro coils so if you can sneak the old silica out and pop some cotton wool in then that's the same as popping a new micro coil in ..... Isn't it ?

Mark ... Thanks for that ... If I'd have bought an orig ithaka I could see that would be worth it ... But at twice the price of the clone I just can't justify that ..€68 is a lot of dosh ... Appreciate your help ... I guess I'm trying to do the A1 vaping experience on a budget ... And it isn't always possible
And Freefrom ... Yes , I have found it to be erratic ... To the point that it's now just chucked in the vaping spares box ... Love the kF3.1 and TaifunGt so much I can't be bothered with it ... Hence trying to find a cheap conversion

My FT 3.1 clone is just vaping heaven ... Whether on silica or cotton it performs flawlessly ... Best vaping money ( and there's been a lot ! ) I've ever spent

** All the atties mentioned in this post are clones ... No apologies ... Just saying **
i'm now seriously bored of the ITHAKA ... The res / non res wire thing and the erratic performance has just turned me right off .... i absolutely love my kayfun 3.1 and Taifun GT ...
I know a few months ago there was a conversion kit made to turn the ITHAKA into a Kayfun type attie .... It seems a real shame to waste what is a nice piece of engineering so I'd love to get my hands on one of those conversion kits and start using my Ithaka again ... Any suggestions ?

I listened to this on the way to work yesterday ... Very good bit of radio.... Rod Liddell, slaughtered the woman from the BMA or whatever organisation she represented... Had a real go about comparative risk ... Think it did us a lot of good

Had a similar problem with my V3... In a final desperate act I removed the badly fitted thin cardboard "washer" that surrounded the positive pin ... Don't know if yours has one but it appeared to me it was preventing the flattop batteries making proper contact ... Worked really well after that ( until I dropped it and knackered one of the button ) .... Might be worth a try if all else fails
