Hi Issjdts - not tried that myself but imagine it would be a case of making a short u-wick, and splaying the bottom ends slightly after making a small incision with some tin snips. This is all assumption - but it's the way that would seem most logical Typical - I said 'hi' here and I've been so rammed this past couple of weeks that I've barely contributed! I've not even had time to do any more reviews... I'm starting to get withdrawal!

Mine's a lot more modest... for now (not including several drawers full of CE3s, boges, ejuice bottles and other assorted brick-a-brack

Hi and wellcome Lordy, seen a few of the reviews you have done and enjoyed them. Agree with you 100% on the Kayfun mini, after trying a couple of Dreams ( stunning vape for the money ) I got a Kayfun mini soon followed with the 3.1 ES, love them both but think the mini is a slightly better vape, just my opinion of course. Thanks archie - a friend of mine is sending some a 3.1,a spheroid v2 and a terminator so I can do a 'silica bake-off'. Have been told the mini is a bit better on the flavour than the 3.1 but will be good to see for myself. Agreed on the dream - when set up properly it's far better than anything you can buy for similar money. Just a shame that refilling is such a faff however you look at it! Still, it's worth that trade-off given the price

lordy just like to add that after watching one of your video reviews, you come across so well Thanks Chrissie! Only been at it a few months but I've had 5,000+ views just in the last 30 days! Am quite blown away by that. Todd has been incredibly supportive. He featured my first review (drawtube smart) within hours of me uploading it and it certainly gave me a boost. A few vendors are also supportive, most notably Charliesvapeshop.Co.Uk - the guy is a gent in the truest sense of the word, and a great vendor too... He really does go the extra mile to deliver a topnotch service. A couple of US vendors have sent me some bits recentlt, and smokecloud (new vendor) have also given me a shout to review stuff for them. My friends at the den have been only too happy to loan me some top quality kit too - so I've had a lot of help from a lot of people. I truly love 'the process' of putting the vids together and find it therapeutic... The fact that people seem to enjoy them is definitely a bonus I truly didn't expect all this positive buzz, and I didn't think I'd be getting so many views after just a couple of months... Very humbled by the support! Would love to get a better cam and a decent mic but I just don't have the funds right now. Ah well... All things in good time

Sorry - forgot to address your last point! Button positioning on the DT felt a little 'alien' at first, but it really doesn't take long to get used to. I'd like to adjust mine so it has a shorter throw... it should be a relatively simple task but I just haven't got round to it. Whether you fire with the pinky or push the button into your palm... you really do get used to it remarkably quickly.
Been using the Poldiac of late, which has a similar firer to the #20 in terms of position (although it uses two magnets as opposed to a spring). It's a much more expensive bit of kit and it regularly misfires (push button and nothing happens)... not sure whether the #20 is the same, but for me it's far more annoying an issue than the button positioning on the DT.

For one, I think there's a problem flush-fitting things to the Sigelei, whereas the center post on the DT is fully adjustable. From what I can gather the switch on the #20 can be a PITA... certainly a lot less simple to work on than the DT.
DT is a much simpler device, is easier to 'fix' should anything need tweaking, and therefore will have greater longevity.

Again +1 on the Drawtube - Charlie's dropped his price on them to £39.99 - it's been my default device for a few months with no issues at all to report, and as you can see... it's a perfect combo to the RSST, ESPECIALLY with an 18500 battery.
Top tips: Positive button contacts (atty centre post contact as well as positive battery contact) are plated brass. Use light sand paper to remove the plating.
The same is true of the contact on the base of the button. Give it a light sand - you'll find brass underneath.
Just these two changes will reduce voltage drop by about 0.3v, which doesn't sound a lot, but it makes a big difference.
Final tip: Use Noalox. Every week I used to clean the threads and would get black (oxidised) SS dust. Oxidised SS is NOT conductive. Therefore, the more of it builds up, the more voltage drop you'll experience.
Noalox is a conductive grease. I haven't cleaned my threads in 4 weeks (since applying Noalox) and the drawtube is still behaving itself beautifully. Noalox is pretty much a must-have for any telescopic mod if you want to cut down on cleaning/maintenance. It makes the threads (which are already very good) buttery smooth too.

Certainly do... www.youtube.com/stevelauder1976The review I'm most proud of is the Kayfun Mini - yet it's had relatively low views!? I want to re-do the Dream (BT804) review at some point. I followed manufacturer's instructions for setup. I've since found far better setups, and far less messy ways of refilling! Reviews on the way soon: Hero APV Poldiac Drunker RBA Smok Gripper Vamo v3

Hi folks, how you doing? I'm Lordy, been vaping for a few years - full-time for two of them. I've been video reviewing for a few months and hope to share my reviews with you, as well as enjoy some good old-fashioned forum banter! I'm also a member at the Vaper's Den and UKV... a few people have told me to check out this place - most notably Todd (of Todd's reviews) and SMonkey, who I believe's a member here Current gear - I'm flitting between devices a lot at the moment, but my staple seems to be an RSST with SS rope wick on a drawtube smart (Noaloxed up). I'm playing around a lot with the Hero APV at the minute too - am determined to find a really good setup to share when I conduct my review. I'm also lucky enough to have a Poldiac in my possession for the time-being, but it's just on-loan until I've reviewed it! Anyway, this is just a little hello
