Thanks Perpetua, the name`s very familiar now I see it, but wouldn`t have remembered it in a month of Sundays....

it appears to be discontinued but I spotted a base price of nearly £80 for it - no wonder I never got one to test !

That`s exactly how I read into it as well.

I still can`t get my head around any specific situation where someone would set it and truly forget it - or whether anyone actually does that.

I got my Vamo last November, so don`t know what version it is, but the EF3400 fits OK here....they must have changed the dimensions of the tube on the newer versions

I agree, nothing I use is that consistent to be able to leave it set on any one particular value - mine`s up and down like a bride`s nightie.

Even *misers from the same pack aren`t all equal, and certainly don`t start off at the same wattage as what they do before they`re ready for the bin.

So not really sure about the wattage thing myself in real life use.

It`s all very amusing to think someone`s had a mishap after some rectal probing, but we must be serious...

the skin cells have been stained and they will need to wear away gradually - the best way to do this is to perform some repetitive activity with your hands that causes a certain amount of friction to speed up the process.

Using a little oil based lubricant to assist in this can also help.
