Are the Aerotank heads different to the Protank2? I cant seem to make the Aerotank heads fit the Davide with or without the bdc extension. Yes mate, they are two different heads. The Aerotank ones are larger because are made to hold dual coils.

Yes mate, the Aertank heads are dual coil and therefore loads more room inside the cup. I've found it better to use the single coil Kanger heads. Ah, I see. That may have given me an idea regarding a Davide.....It came with a duel coil head, which is totally different to the Kanger heads, (flat top/no air tube) but it did not recoil very well. So I have been thinking about your idea for using Kanger heads in the Davide. Is that the Davide with the extension ring for the bdc coils? You can take the ring off and use normal Protank heads, in fact I have one and I do this. You can also use the aspire heads in a protank 2 if you use the extension ring, and you use the airflow control valve from the Aerotank with them too.

Just to clarify, I'm using a single coil head from Protanks. I first tried it with the grommet from the single coil as normal = flooded I then tried it with the dual coil grommet turned upside down on top of the single coil grommet = dry hits galore I then did what I've been talking about = great wicking, no leaking, gurgling or dry hits I used a single coil head as the dual coil head always ended up flooding after a period of time with a single coil in it. Hope this helps. Cheers iLardyboy, I am only just coming back to using clearos so I am quite new to this format. Same, i tried it and looked at it and thought "That wick is fully exposed with gaps" The only thing i can think of is a big coil and loads of cotton to fill the gap but that would be a lot of cotton ??? Or are we just getting old and the last remaining brain cells have just popped I am sure there is a valid reason for iLardyboy doing this.........but I cannot think of any benefits ??? It sort of looks like solving a problem that is not there. Perhaps iLardyboy could clarify the problem he had, that made him try the upside down silicon cup. It's the grommet that goes on top of the wick to prevent leaking, not the one you take out to recoil. It's probably not called a grommet, but that's what I call it lol. I thought that was the bit you were talking about but I can't see the benefit....is this on the aerotank? For me wicking is better this way, and the grommet prevents any juice getting into the inner tube. Here's a pic:

Super-Shiny, I've been using the single coil heads in the Aerotank. 8 wraps on a 3/64 jewellers screwdriver, I then use the grommet that is on the the duel coil head but turn it upside down. Not a single gurgle after 4 days vaping. Hey iLardyboy can't quite get my head around what you mean by turning the grommet upside down. Have you got a picture please. It's the grommet that goes on top of the wick to prevent leaking, not the one you take out to recoil. It's probably not called a grommet, but that's what I call it lol.

I received my Drippa box today, very good presentation. A bit disappointed to receive only 5 flavours as everyone else seemed to get 6 in their first box. Looking forward to try some new flavours, although I received Affro-Dizziac which I've already tried. Definitely a good service, but I'm undecided if I should keep my subscription.

I watched PBusardo's review, the coils don't look too bad in terms of rebuilding. Microcoil/Cotton in the bottom hole and some more cotton at the top hole. I'm hoping it's that easy!!

Do you know if the new heads will fit in the old Aerotank Super-Shiny? I think saw somewhere that they fit the Protank 3, but it didn't mention the original Aerotank.
