ginge7289... STOP! The vaping community is great, and especially this forum... it really is addictive, but please don't go spending money on the latest gizmo, there will be something else new next week. Enjoy the community feel, but please don't go chasing the latest 'must have'. Agreed! Take your time, and find what makes you happy. The grass is not always greener on the other side .... Jag. (Contented Man.)

My Ego/510 batteries are all 1000 to 1100 Mah and they are all about Five months old. They have been used regularly and heavily, and thus far I have seen no drop off in performance or charging. Mine are all reputable brands, however someone I know uses clones of these, many purchased from overseas. Some of them are falling apart before he even uses them, and other have lasted him no longer than a month! He doesn't pay much, but on the other hand he buys a lot ..... So far I have found the Riva impressive in not only holding its charge but also maintaining an even voltage before dropping off. Now I have my Evics, they will still get used, just for variety. Jag. (Charge!)

Where I live if there was a meet it would probably be held in a field full of sheep or a field full of Nudists. I'm not sure which would be worse ................ Jag. (Contemplating the unthinkable.)

Soooooo tell us where you got them and if there's any more?? I would if I could. It was a one off deal. And boy ..... it was SOME deal. Hey, sometimes you just have to get lucky, and for once I did. I think if you shop around you can find a complete kit in the UK for about £75. Even at that price it is still a pretty good deal. Jag. (Pass me my Golden Tree .....)

eVic' s are great devices when you mess around with the software and get them right, once that is done then it's happy vaping Indeed. Upgraded the Firmware in 20 seconds. Set the software parameters the way you want them and then write it direct to the Evic. I keep seeing people messing around setting the Evic in the menu's on You Tube, which seems strange when you can use the software and then just write the info to the evic in a few seconds. Job done. Set your wattage or voltage any way that you like and just vape. People love to knock things. This could be sturdier, I want a different button, it needs 99 Volts to impress me. Whatever ......... they work, and what they do they do really well. The best vaping purchase I have ever made. Evic Heaven. Jag. (Happy as a pig in .........)

Two Evics, Firmware 1.4. Busy cooking a Hefty looking battery so I have a spare charged, although I could be in for a long wait. Jag. (Patience is said to be a virtue.)

No never had that with ecigs but have had insomnia when stopped smoking using nicotine patches. Snap! The patches didn't work for me at all, until I discovered vaping I went cold turkey. They did keep me awake at night though, even if I removed the patch before I settled down to sleep. As soon as I quit the patches the insomnia stopped. Jag. (vapes and snores)

I've been a 510 Ego fan ever since I began vaping, even though on loan I've tried just about every Mod there is out there. But today, things changed ......................... I purchased two Evic kits for the price of one. And no, I didn't have to take a slow boat to China. Upgraded them both to Firmware 1.4 and settled down to break them in, feet up and big smile on my face. I think this is heaven ........................ Jag. (Converted at long last .....)

As a last resort you could open up your Noggin and re-wick the grey matter and soak the nerve coils in Vodka. Just a thought ..... albeit a somewhat stupid thought. Jag. (Must change my atomizer.)

Yep ...... the Riva battery is a great little device. I stick a T3S BCC on top of one and I'm in seventh heaven. Upgrade? Not in the near future ......... Jag. (Vapes away contentedly.)

Is it the E-Liquid you are allergic to or the nicotine? f it is the latter you could always try a Zero Nic E-Liquid. Nicotine can give rise to quite a few allergic reactions, and studies seem to prove that the flavours seem to interact with the Nicotine to make the situation for suffers even more volatile. I have a friend who can tolerate only low levels of Nicotine. He vapes away on all manner of flavours all day, but if he dares to try a Tobacco flavour the entire inside of his mouth swells up! Go figure. Jag. (Only allergic to himself)

I've sat around for days with a Digital Camera in my hand waiting for one of my Ego type batteries to do something strange, or burst into flames. Not one picture do I have to show for all my patience. Generally speaking, I fancy batteries are rather well behaved in the modern world. I do miss heating them up on the stove to get a bit more power out of them though ........
Jag. (I did read the warning on the condom packet, but that WASN'T how I broke my neck.)

Looking up or going up? How does the ozone effect the flavour of the vape? You hadn't noticed any change? I wonder why ..... Jag. (I wasn't staring, I was just trying to avoid bumping into you, Miss.)
