Had they been wired in parallel then we would have cause for concern if there was no balancer to the charging circuits You need a balancer for series batteries even more than parallel IMO and would avoid any mod using series batteries that didn't have individual cell monitoring, in parallel they will all be at the same voltage all the time. 100 % correct - series and parallel ass about face as usual It's my understanding though that the vt has a balance board fitted? But saying that I also read somewhere that they were in fact li-ion batteries

Don't sound good, I know blakey had one die on him and I cant find an Allen key to fit the top screws about 1.4 mm I guess they are imperial and I may have some in the shed. Yep, one of my two died mid Vape, it now has no power to the board. Really can't be bothered to open it up and see what happened. I'll stick with genuine evolv boards from now on I think. It's a shame really cos that style of mod is extremely comfortable in the hand.

You're not running a micro coil so the coil should heat evenly unless you have a hot spot if the air is hitting the center of the coil then the outer wraps will get hotter as they aren't being cooled by the airflow and that's the point that the juice travels into the coil

Yes blakey I know that but it's the third and forth wrap and that's what I don't understand why How many coils are there when you wrap? Also, at what point does the air hit the coil? that also has an effect on which part of the coil get's the hottest

Micro coils, when done properly- heat from the inside outwards so they get the power quicker in the center

I own an original vaporflask v2.1 squonk, it is an exceptional mod and a joy to hold and use. I was getting ready to push the button on a second one when I noticed @windows had produced a smaller version of a mod that I'd already purchased from him. A lovely mod that's used mostly in the living room when watching telly but a bit too big to take outside, not pocket friendly. I mentioned to windows that he needed to make a smaller mod and that if he did then I would purchase one. He does some decent work does our windows Off he went and found a printed case and gathered all the parts and put together an outstanding squonking mod, I absolutely adore it- so much so that I'd rather another of them than another vaporflask And I 100% mean that! It's as light as a feather and I could lose the bugga in my pocket. Side by side with an egrip, shows how small this mod really is Comfortable in the hand Control buttons neatly on top and completely unobtrusive Everything is well and truly packed inside, hot glue used to keep wires at bay. Nice and tidy. This is without a doubt a superb effort by windows and one that I'm very happy to own.
