Ok so I'm going down the lazy mans mixing route, I'm thinking if I get 100ml of vpg 18mg from LTecigs www.ltecigs.larsentilbrook.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_84&product_id=386And mix it using 10% flavour it should turn out at around 16mg right? Also for making a cherry menthol I was thinking around 6% cherry/4%menthol would this work or is menthol usually strong enough that I would need less menthol to avoid overpowering the cherry?

I ordered 5 10ml bottles from Vape it UK's Ready to vape range in 16mg : Apple Pie, Butter scotch, Blackcurrant, Pear drops and Tutti Frutti.
Obviously the first thing I did was open the bottles for a quick whiff and they all smell delicious.
So far I have only tried the Apple pie and the Butter scotch and here are my thoughts.
Apple pie: It is my first time trying an apple pie type flavour and I am more than impressed with it. It has a nice tart apple taste on the inhale and a sweet pie crust with a hint of apple on the exhale, producing clouds of thick vapour at around 8 watts. The missus said it makes the house smell like a yankee candle =D
Butter scotch: I love butter scotch and this flavour doesn't disappoint, the only gripe I have is that it could have done with being a bit smoother as the scotch flavour in it is a little overpowering. Possibly not an all day vape but something nice for after dinner or for a session down the pub =p
I will update this when I try the others.

Just a reminder of the details we will be meeting at 3pm on Saturday the 31st (this Saturday) at Gumption in bradford. It's the grade 2 listed building opposite the ice rink. Theres plenty of cheap places to park very close to the venue and I hope to see those of you that can make it there =) Kids are more than welcome.

Putting a battery in upside down puts you at a large risk of a hard short. This is a quote from over on UKV explaining it much better than I can
'Inserting a battery upside down puts you at an avoidable risk of hard shorting your battery. It is a no-no for any mod but if anything a bigger no-no for mechanical than regulated. If the metal case of the battery just under the plastic skin ever makes contact with the inside of the mod and you hit the button your battery will be hard shorted. The positive post is insulated, obviously. The entire mod is essentially a negative contact. Any mod that is designed for a battery to go in "upside down" should be considered flawed by design unless the inside of the tube has its own insulation from the battery.. which wouldn't make a lot of sense :/'
Basically if the plastic skin moves at all you are setting yourself up for disaster so I would strongly advise only using flat tops on the pipe mods that have the auto fire problem with button top batteries.

Yeah, variable wattage locks in the power and adjusts the voltage to compensate for the resistance. Which is why you shouldn't need to change the power between different cartos / clearos to achieve the same result. I think I must be a wimp though. I get my preferred vape at around 4-6 Watts on my protanks / evods. Only when I switch to my iClear 30 do I have to up the power to around 8-9 watts for my preferred vape. Its not about being a wimp mate don't worry =) I like the throat hit and clouds of vapor I get at 8 watts, anything much above it and it starts tasting a bit burnt. Its all down to personal preference

Hmmm E-Pipe Mechanical Mod CLICKY icon_shoppingm If thats just a skinned version of their smok pipe clone then you have to be careful as button top batteries cause it to auto fire, you either have to use flat tops or put the battery in upside down. NOTE: I do not recommend putting the battery in upside down this is just a fix based on the discussions on UKV forum and on the fasttech site.

Its reading my coil at 2.6 ohms but when you use watts the resistance of the coil shouldn't matter as it adjusts the power depending on the resistance of the coil to provide a consistent vape. So for example I like my cherry cola at 8watts, if I switch from using my 2.6 ohm protank 2 to my 1.8 ohm evod then I still get the same taste without having to change the settings. If I wanted to use variable voltage I would have to set it to around 4.5v for my 2.6 ohm coil, then when changing to the 1.8 ohm coil I would have to turn it down to 3.8v to get the same sweet spot.
