So I did a bit a bit more digging and found this picture of Smok compatible coils. So far I've tried the Vaptio Frogman and NRG Vaporesso coils. Both seem very good so far and I doubt these are fake in any way, unlike some of the Smok coils. Others on the list I just can't find anywhere, but I have seen some of the other types on ebay. I'll probably get round to trying all the ones I can source eventually:

I go in fits and spurts. At first I bought a lot, then stopped for a while and was satisfied. Then again another buying spree and then another more recently. But I still use all those things I've bought in the past (unless they are broken of course, which I try to replace with something similar). I've been vaping 5 years this year, yet every morning I still use 2 ego-c twists with mini protank ones with recoiled kanger coils in at around 1.4 ohms, with any old tobacco eliquid - probably from poundland. At weekends I then go to a MVP2, again with a mini protank and some cheapo eliquid. When I go to work I take 2 simple mods (istick, now a coolfire iv) with mini nautilus tanks and 0.7 ohm nautilus 2 coils. One tank with homemade Heisenberg, one with Red Astaire. At night I use 3 Smok mods with smok big baby/baby beast/prince tanks using homemade eliquids, mainly sweet stuff. As for eliquids I really will vape almost anything. I've bought second hand eliquids from forums, and vaped every one, no matter how rank they are lol - not fussy me. I got a load of concentrates from here second hand and I'm working my way through those. A quick sniff, then 100ml, a bit of steeping and away I go - always finish it off. I have bought some Kreeds custard and banana concentrates though as they are nice, and I do let them steep for weeks to improve the flavour.

As for smoking, I could go back to tomorrow easily. I love smoking and always will, just now I vape instead - and always will.

Wow, thanks all. Some of those links won't work for me at work, so I'll have a look later on at home. The ones I can see all look pretty much what I'm after, apart from the Smok G PRiv. I've already got Aliens and a Procolour for home use. All I need is something to chuck in my pocket on the way out. The coolfire 4 looks great TJ.

I was in town earlier and popped into Boots to get some Glycerin for mixing with. You probably know the stuff, in 200ml glass bottles for 99p. Anyway, they had 5 bottles on the shelf, so I put them all in my basket. At the checkout was where the problems started. As this is a medicine the lady there questioned why I wanted so much at once. I said straight away it was for making eliquid, which was probably a mistake. She totally ignored me, and my wife said it was for sore throats and that we never went to town normally and wanted to stock up, probably the right thing to say. Anyway she went off to talk to a pharmacist, and came back to reconfirm why we wanted so much for. I let my wife do the talking this time and she just reiterated what she'd already said. Off the lady went again to discuss with the pharmacist and she eventually relented and sold us the 5 bottles. She said they have to be careful when selling medicines like this.

Quite an odd experience really. I understand the medicinal checks they need to do, but surely Glycerin is totally safe, even with gallons of the stuff. What would they do if I wanted to buy. say, a couple of pounds of bicarb (which I do actually, but from ebay)? The lesson here I suppose is to stick with online sellers, but I do like the Boots VG for mixing with - and it is so cheap.

Anyone else had issues buying VG from Boots like this and what is the most you've managed to buy at once?
