Make the coil & then zap the no res on afterwards My fault, i should state before that this is the only way i was ever able to zap the damn wires together. It will fall apart even faster if coil is made afterwards. It would be nice to know how many zappers sold were thrown through the window... as this one is half way there...

Sorry mate but there's info all over this thread and others that silver wire is a PAI to weld, my advice is use Nickel Ok, 3 months later: this welding thing is killing me, for each weld which keeps the NICKEL wire on kanthal it takes me tens of trys (literally, today i was bothering for 30 minutes and still one wire fell off) and even then there is no guarantee that the weld will last when i put it on ithaka (which is failed in design, anyone talking about how genesis type of atomizers are PITA to set up, this is far worse, in 3 months i was able to put together genesis at any time with consistant results, while this one is each time an adventure). I cant remember a single coil where i wasnt swearing and luckly i have my genesis, so i had a backup when i wasnt able to put together a freaking coil as i would be without the ecig untill the next day afternoon... I bought the zapper as i hoped it will be easyer to do it then knotting the freaking wires together, but it is the same $#&"$&#$&... i am frustrated... Is there any procedure to provide the consistant results with welding, I must be missing something!?? (i have tryed to burn/not burn the wires before welding, bruteforcing the times from 1-10 seconds, changing which wire is on which contact, used silver wire and nickel wire, used three types of kanthal, cleaned the weld spots with alcohol)

Ok, i am slowly getting frustrated, i am trying for 1 hour now to weld the wires together, 0.20 kanthal A and 0.20 silverwire, I just cant get a decent weld, tryed to power it for 3-8 seconds it doesnt change anything, switched the polarity of static wire, nothing helps...
Please, is there some tutorial how to do it?
And please dont tell me i should get nickel wire, i dont have it and i need to make this ready untill monday morning as i am leaving for vecations and there is absolutely no way to get nickel wire untill then. The idea with zapper was to have less troubles and better contacts then with "manual" way but untill now it is just complete pain in the a**
