A friends puppy chewed on a handbag sized bottle of 70% alcohol hand gel. It was very young and sadly died of alcohol poisoning. No one blamed the Hand gel, despite the fact it was strawberry scented and bright red and possibly very inviting to a small child. Same principle applies surely, don't leave potentially harmful substances where kids and pets can reach them. As far as I know the hand gel incident didn't make the papers!

Or use the little icon above the reply box which looks like a person with an @ sign, and type the persons name in, I'm on iPad and that works for me

God that sounds scary, I've had the odd plastic coke bottle roll through from the back (kids again!) and get lodged under the brake pedal, fortunately they're soft enough to crunch if you're desperate and the foot juggling doesn't work. Worst thing I've had when I smoked was an electric lighter igniting in my handbag causing a small inferno that I only noticed when driving, horrible smell of burning plastic and smoke wafting out of it, had to chuck the Starbucks I was drinking into it! Fortunately my purse and phone weren't in there so only lost makeup etc... And the Starbucks, what a waste...

I never smoked in the car when the kids were with me, plus I was pretty useless at coordinating a cig at the best of times. The ash invariably blew back at me as did the odd cigarette end causing much swearing and scrabbling in my lap. Much easier with a ecig once you've located the button...

Me too, too many times I've unwittingly stuck my hand in a half eaten sandwich or worse in those oh so handy pockets on the back of the front seats...little monsters!

I sell these packages all day long ... The company i work for is ofcom accredited ... i deal with mostly virgin home movers who can't get services at there new property and set up new packages for them and also deal with virgin telesales, who again are transferred through to me because they want the services but not available due to virgin not in there area , if sky fibre is available take it !! best on the market .. no traffic management policy's and also the only company to offer 12 month contracts on fibre all other isp's are 18 months and also doing free installs at present ... talk-talk mmmm we sell there product good prices but customer service is err not so good .. good for freeview and if good BB speeds you can add boosts ... rem you can only record the freeview , you cant record the premium channels .. they also do a smaller package called essentials tv .. which is freeview , no record function and only 30 mins of pause , unlimited bb and eve and wkd calls all for £22.90 a month .. but why bother freeview is free right ... Rem virgin and sky have the best tv and bb ... and sky have some rather good deals on at present ... also rem bt charge a 49.00 connection fee for vision and youview and a 39.99 connection fee for infinity and 18 month contracts another reason to choose sky right 12 month contract ? !! I must admit I am leaning toward sky, especially after speaking to talktalk who informed me their essentials package is £7.50 with or without tv, as the tv is free, of course it is...as you've just said freeview is..well...free! All I want is decent bb to use the nowtv box, I don't want to subscribe to a digital tv contract for services I won't use. I shall see if TT,s instructions on the modem improve the quality and take it from there, thanks for the advice and comments, another plus for this forum, you can find someone knowledgable in so many fields, not just ecigs!

Yes I did look at plusnet too, they get very good reviews for speed, they do use traffic management but prioritise tv streaming over web browsing etc. The sky £35 a month works out about the same as using a nowtv box with film and entertainment pass for a year and I can drop out of the tv bit whenever I want, we don't need the sport. The only downside with sky is they don't do inclusive evening calls, just weekends, unless you take their anytime call boost for an extra fiver a month whereas it's standard with talktalk. If we use the landline at all it tends to be in the evenings so we'd lose out a bit there. Talk talk have given me instructions on updating the settings on my modem so we'll see how that goes. I've watched 6 films so far through the nowtv iPad app, had a few drops in speed yesterday evening which was annoying especially considering I'm less than 100 yards from the exchange

I have 2 Iclears constantly on the go, one for fruitys like strawberry, rasberry and red Astaire and one for caramels, vanillas and toffees. I rotate them on a daily basis...or hourly depending on mood. So far this has been enough for me. I've gone right off mints and menthols. I know there are many more flavours out there and I've not had a holy grail moment but I'm happy for now

I'll leave the technical stuff to the experts but the dry skin and spots could simply be dehydration. I had several odd reactions in my first 6 months of vaping, dry skin and itching being the worst. Increase your fluids, vaping dries you out. Keep a bottle of water nearby, it really does help.

Me too, I'd love fibre but it's not available here. I've just investigated my account more closely and it appears I'm paying £7.50 for a Tv service I don't receive and despite the proclamations talk talk have unlimited broadband with no traffic management I appear to have a fair usage policy applied to my account. Try as I might I cannot see what the fair usage limit is in the small print. I've just emailed them asking for it so we'll see what they say. My concern is that while plowing through all the movies on now TV we'll exceed the fair usage limit and incur costs or some other restrictions. Trouble is if I renew my contract as an existing customer I have to sign up for 24 months minimum. I'm tempted just to switch to sky for a year, they have a half price offer on at the moment

Oh bum, mine's white, bet they won't give me a black one unless I commit to another century of contract...

We should be ok then, the exchange is across the road, I was just concerned whether traffic management would mean an unreliable speed for streaming at peak times

The ex used to pay £60 a month for the full sky package but that left when he did, I've signed up for the nowtv free trial month movie package and I've just watched iron man3 on my iPad no problem, so when the box gets here hopefully that will be ok too. Which means we can have the sky movie channels for £9 a month. So I'll stay on talktalk for now without signing a new contract as and see how it goes, thanks fred for that suggestion, I thought they would make me renew. £75 a month Greg! I hope that's a phone, broadband, tv bundle with diamond encrusted modem!

I'm trying to decide whether to switch ISP as my very long contract with talk talk is up. I used to have sky TV but since my ex left I can't afford a full package. So I've just ordered a nowTV box so we can still get the movie channels we used to love at a more affordable price. However whilst doing some research I've come across this internet traffic management thingy, as I understand it this is the practice of restricting the speed of some internet usage at peak times so everyone gets fair access and speed. I'm wondering how this could affect internet TV and whether I should be looking at an ISP that doesn't implement it at all. I'm tempted to go for sky broadband because they don't use it and as their bread and butter is television services they should presumably give streaming a quality service. On the other hand if there is no management does that mean it's a free for all during peak time resulting in crap service for all? Or am I just over thinking this and it makes no difference what so ever!
If there are any IT gurus out there I would appreciate your opinions.
