Thanks for your replies, I think I'm going to contact vapology and tell them, I'm sure I used higher VG mix liquids in my first days of vaping, I had some from Joose juice which I'm fairly sure were 60/40 and I had no problems with that. As you say, maybe they've changed something, I could be one of many coughing my head off lol. I will report back when I get a response in case there are anymore victims on the forum. Thanks for helping me decide what to do.

I recently bought a 4 pack of liquids from vapology, this is the second lot I've bought from them and really I like their caramel flavour, however my new stuff is really irritating my throat, as soon as I inhale I'm coughing and spluttering. I know vapology's recommended PG/VG ratio is 60/40, which is what I went for both times. Prior to that I've had liquids from Tjuice which I think is 80/20 and hangsen which I think is also 80/20. I've never had this problem before. The only difference between the first and second lot of vapology juice is the nic level, my first batch was 18mg but the second one I decided to drop to 14mg. It's not just the caramel that's causing the irritation, I bought some rasberry and that's doing it too. I'm wondering whether it's caused in some way by the change in nic level though I can't imagine how. If I was sensitive to the higher VG ratio I would have expected to choke on the first lot too. I've found I can still use it provided I mix it at least 50/50 with something else, but I'm sad I can't use the caramel on its own without sharing it with anyone standing too close!

My eldest daughter and I love chilli con carne, preferably done in the slow cooker to let the flavours infuse. My youngest however hates it. Consequently we don't have it often, youngest has gone away for a while so it was the first thing on the menu after she left, we're having roast lamb tomorrow, another thing youngest doesn't like, and fresh fish tonight, yet another of her dislikes....I'm just starting to realise what a pain in the arse my youngest daughter is lol...

Personally I have found I wait a lot longer to have my first vape in the morning, often I'm in the car en route to work, when I smoked I would never have been able to resist for that long. I have been dropping the nic levels when buying liquids for the last few weeks, not drastically, I've just gone from 18 to 14mg so far with a few 12s in the last lot. I've not noticed any increase in cravings, in fact unless I remember to look at the bottles when refilling I don't really think about the strength at all, it's all about the taste. So much easier than struggling with a nicorette inhaler which tasted disgusting and failed miserably

On the nhs assessments we use we class someone as a non-smoker after 3 months off the cigs whether they vape or not, though we record the use of ecigs just from a nicotine use perspective as of course it can still affect blood pressure and heart rate.

I have a sniffle but not a menthol fan so decided to use a mix of rasberry and a hint of vapology peppermint, however I didn't put my glasses on, got the bottles mixed up and nearly blew my head off! My tubes have never been so clear! I think I'll stick to red Astaire...

The trust I work for bans ecigs in ward areas as they're deemed a fire risk, however they do not stop people vaping on the grounds yet, but I think that might change in view of the latest comments from WHO, we are not allowed to promote them in any way.

Oh no how miserable for you, nothing worse than living in a damp atmosphere, hope you don't have any respiratory or arthritic problems, if you do, slap in an extra claim on the numpty's insurance! Glad to hear you at least had a good time in Hernia Bay..my home town, nice to know someone visits occasionally lol

If you're worried you're over feeding it, just stuff that worry in it and then you don't need to worry about it anymore!
