frances hi and to AAEC, home of the happy vaper. Well as you found out, Jac's are a touch on the expensive side, but if you could give some idea of what your realistic budget is i'm sure we can guide you to Vaping Nivana (or at least get you sorted out on the right track) Well, budget isn't too important, as long as I can find something that is suitable. I do like a variable voltage, flavour is important as is a good throat hit. I really don't mind if it is on the large side- I'd be using a smaller one when out. I'm not very 'science' minded, but am up for the challenge of working it out and quite like the idea of fiddling and tweaking- as long as the product is good. I think what I'm trying to say is- I don't mind a bit of initial outlay for something that has flexibility in terms of choice of tanks/ atomisers- particularly if it might save a bit in the long run. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you all for your welcome and advice! I'm afraid I'm new to forums and am not sure how to reply individually to comments on this thread, but I'll try to add quotes and see if that works. Actually I've just been to the help with posting page and think I'll need to do separate posts to reply to each of you! This is proving another steep learning curve!

Hi all. I'm new to this forum and have been vaping for a couple of months. I got hooked into Jac vapour (I'll explain the hooked bit later) and started with their PCC VIP kit before moving to the crystal mini (seemed to burn every liquid) and latterly their vv Vgo. So as you can see they've had quite a bit of money from me already. Whilst the vv helps with the burning issue (because I can turn it down) I am really disappointed to find that I can only buy tanks and carts from Jac as their batteries are incompatible with any other system. This is where I feel I've been hooked! So I'm looking to buy from another supplier and start again. Of course I will keep the current set up until the batteries pack up- I have a nova tank (a modified by Jac to fit their batteries one which I'm hoping can be used with replacement wicks from other companies). i am desperate not to abandon vaping as I was a very heavy smoker- when things work it's really good! I seem to prefer sweeter juices and these are clogging the wicks so fast. I've tried cleaning them but they never work when I put them back- so a new atomiser is needed every few days. I mostly vape at home so am not too worried about size- I can use my PCC when I'm out. I just want something with good compatibility so I can try things like dual coil tanks and straight atomisers (and anything else anyone can suggest to save me on changing wicks so frequently!). I'm not even averse to making my own- but this isn't an option with my current set up. Very grateful for any suggestions
