Thats ok djs I did'nt feel at all patronised by your reply Hindsight is a marvellous thing. 2 weeks ago I was looking for a way to quit smoking, and knowing nothing of the world of vaping and e-cigs E-Lites were the only option that I could see if I wanted to go down the "alternative smoking" route. I did'nt even know if a smoking alternative was going to work for me, but it turned out to be much more successful than I had anticipated If I knew then what I know now, then I would have gone straight for something along the lines of an Evod. So while E-Lites are not particularly good in the long term they are what brought me to this place, and I will be thankful for that. 2 weeks and 1 day now, and I'm still not even considering getting any baccy, I love that state of mind And I do very much appreciate the help, advice and the support I am getting from you and everyone else in this forum Tom

I'm overwhelmed by how friendly and helpful this forum is. You all make me feel very welcome here. djs Yes the E-Lites do seem to work out quite expensive, and it seems quite difficult to get a good draw out of them. But at the moment they are the only thing that keeps me off baccy. Hopefully when my EVOD kit arrives I will find it a bit more satisfying. Thanks for the offer of help, it is very much appreciated. Perpetua I can imagine that it is difficult to advise on juice, as you say everyone has their own unique individual tastes. I will be starting with small bottles until I find some that I really enjoy, and I suspect I'll always be trying different flavours if only to satisfy my curiousity. I am going to have to learn about juices, about the various thicknesses, strengths and tastes But it should be quite fun exploring them

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome and the very helpful advice. I've gone for the EVOD from myepack, it looks excellent value. I've also ordered a couple of tobacco juices. This was a little tricky as I had'nt a clue what they taste like, but am guessing that I'll need to try a few to see what I like. I've gone for Turkish Tobacco and USA Dark to start with, and look forward to trying several others until I find one or two to settle with.
Once again, thanks for all the advice, it has definitely helped my choosing.

Hi All.
I'm very new to this e-cig thing. Two weeks ago I bought a starter pack of E-Lites in my local supermarket in an effort to quit baccy. I am absolutely amazed, I took to them like a duck to water and have'nt touched baccy since. I've been smoking rollies and a pipe for over 40 years and did'nt think I could quit, but I've not missed it as yet. I never knew about the great wide world of vaping until I came across this site, its been an absolute wealth of information and help. I'm definitely thinking of getting some sort of kit, maybe the ego ce5, the Rok Legend Duo looks very interesting too.
Thanks for all the info you guys put up here, its very much appreciated by this newbie.
