I have vaped 100% PG. It's not great.... Mostly I buy 70/30 and make 80/20. 50/50 is superb, but it's thick and can take too long to soak into certain wicks (for me). Thanks djs I think I'll start at 60/40 and see how it goes from there

More pg will give you more throat hit and flavour and more vg will give you more vapour. Pg also has a sweetness to it which adds to the juice. Most people are around the 60pg 40vg mark or 50pg 50vg. Hope that helps. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 Thanks Roscopecotrain that helps a lot was going to order it at 100% PG .. I'm glad I asked first. This is an absolutely amazing forum, with wonderfully friendly and helpful people. Tom

Hi all.
I'm looking to get some juices from joosejuice, but am not sure what the PG and VG ratios should be. I'm guessing that PG is Propylene Glycol. Does the ratio affect the taste of the juice ?
I would be glad of any info on this. Thanks.
Tom

The Sophia will be in the SnP tank surrounded by coloured juice so what does any slight difference in shininess between the two going to make even to an OCD sufferer? What about when there is no juice in it What !! You mean that 10 seconds between refills ?

I'm using 18mg nic and got through about 8ml in 2 and a half days. But thats with no stress. It will probably go up quite a bit if I get a stressful (or boring) day. Also I'm using quite strong tasting tobacco flavours, when I get to the tasty flavours (vanilla, coffee etc) it might go higher too. I suspect that the hardware you use might make a difference too. I'm using an Evod with 25ohm head, so might slow the delivery rate down a little, whereas a head with a lower resistance (say 18ohm) might use the juice up a little quicker as I think it burns a little hotter.
So 5 - 6ml at 12mg nic is probably not much more nic intake then pep and I getting.

Actually I think I got the figures wrong. But what I did was take the price of a packet of baccy (£11.50) and divided it by the number of days it lasted (5) this would give me about £2.30 a day I put the number of ciggies smoked as 10 as this would make it easier to simply put the cost of each ciggy at 23p. A more realistic ciggy number would be 15 as that is about how many pipebowls I filled in a day. Looking at those figures, I should have saved £41.40 ish by now. I must have got my figures wrong somewhere Are we allowed to redo our banners ? I really like this banner app you made for us Tom

I've got a feeling, there are some people on this forum that my granny would call "A bad influence"

Having just started the world of vaping this week I gt my first kit (EVOD) and a couple of extra clearomisers and heads. Thought thats it, just a couple of spare batteries maybe and thats all the hardware I need, only need to start a juice collection now. Thought I was totally immune to shinyitus. Then I looked at the "Show us your kit" thread !!! OMG ... some of you guys have kit that would'nt look out of place in an art gallery !!! But no .. I'm putting my sensible hat back on. After all, the second biggest reason for quitting baccy was the money I hope to save That needs to go straight into your Paypal Vape Gear account Get thee behind me Satan

Hi and welcome to the forum irenevork81I would agree with effington and giles you really need to discuss this with your husband and find out if he does want to give up smoking. Possibly one way would be to be smoking as well as using e-cigarettes, that way he could make his own decision about when he is ready to quit if he wants to. I made the decision to quit just over two weeks ago, and bought a pack of E-Lites from the local supermarket. For me it worked superbly at first. I broke the habit of smoking tobacco and did'nt feel the need to go back to it. But two weeks in I realised that the ciggy-likes was'nt going to work. It was getting quite expensive and I was'nt getting the satisfaction needed, so this week I invested in an EVOD kit and a couple of small bottles of e-liquid. It cost me just over £30 which is'nt much dearer than a cig-alike kit. But the difference was amazing. The satisfaction and enjoyment is much higher, and its looking like its going to be a lot cheaper too. I got the kit from www.myepack.co.uk and the delivery was very quick. If you read through this forum you'll find it very informative, and the people on here are very friendly and helpful. I've only been on here about a week and I've learned lots already. Tom

Hi Steve. Thanks for the banner I'm going to love watching those days and pennies mount up. As an ex pipe smoker it took a while to work out the figures. Tom

Thanks ChrissieMy new Evod kit arrived this morning battery charged up in less than an hour so it must have had some charge in it. nice clear instructions on how to get it all together, took me only about 10 minutes to fill it and get it ready for the big moment. Filled it with Dekang T-Blend tobacco juice (the T is for Turkish I think). Tapped the battery 5 times, and away we go Mmmmmm very nice. This makes the E-Lite seem very basic. It has a nice draw and I like the taste (a bit like what I used to get with my pipe, a bit like Condor mixed with Old Holborn) There was a bit of a crackle and pop sound at first, a bit like smoking Rice Crispies, but that settled down after a while All in all a very enjoyable first experience. I think I am going to get a lot of pleasure from my Evod A word of praise for MyePack. They were very quick, I ordered it late sunday night and the postie delivered it to me early today (tuesday). That is good service. And my thanks to all in this forum for the recommendations and advice Tom
