The fitting where the atty screws into was loose, over time - the underside (the positive wire) worked loose and broke off. I tried to fix it myself - major FAIL! I sent if off to the manufacturer to fix - they tell me the board is now no-good, they have no spares. I've asked them to return it to me to see if I can't find someone who can supply and fit a replacement board. A sad state of affairs - my eyes and soldering ability - just not up to it... The boards are still available so should be repairable. Bargain vapour has DNA 40s in small screen for £42.It was a cunning design feature the rotating 510 but if the grub screw wasnt tightened in just the right place it came loose. Thanks for the information. Though I'd really be looking for someone to supply and fit for me. Bit too fiddly for me... |
