Help! To begin with - I had great success with the fogger and cotton wool. I mean vaping like a steam train - fantastic. Then it has gone pretty "wrong". Can't remember if I was using .20 or .25 wire? Was I wrapping the coil around a 2mm rod? Or around the screw driver that came with the fogger? Was I using 5-6 wraps or 10 wraps? Now I'm completely lost. For loads of vapour - which combination of the above would the more experienced fogger users think might get me back to the fantastic results I was getting before? Appreciate any help advice on this. It is just so ordinary now - it's disappointing...

Hi @jaguar, I'm guessing it's the airholes... Even off the battery it's just too tight. I tossed my built coil as it soon started flooding. So down to my last 8 replacement coil heads If push comes to shove - I'll use them on the BCC mini - which is still doing good.

Hmmm... Getting closer to that dump 'em situation. The cleaning didn't help. So ripped it apart and recoiled and used a bit of cotton wick. It's firing now. Must've been a bad coil head... Though still a puzzle why it fired before without the tank on? I have 9 spare heads to go! I'm also playing around with a fogger. The original wick was rubbish! Micro coil with cotton and it's producing vapour like a steam train - amazing. But I flood it every time I juice it up! What fun

Won't be that Perpetua. It's just a push fit. None of it makes sense... It fires perfectly without the tank... I think I'll just have to throw the lot into a bath and clean everything and dry it all. Then try again... Don't really know if or how that might help - but it can't hurt... But - thanks for your thoughts on it...

After Perpetua suggestion, I installed a new coil head. Now new problem - this is a puzzle. The coil fires perfectly without the tank fitted. Then after fitting the tank - now it will not fire! This is not a one-off. I tried without the tank fitted several times - then fit the tank - nothing! Any thoughts? It's driving me

Yes it is weird! The Mini is still going like a Boeing. Maybe I'll have a dig around in the air holes... Can't drill them - they're too small to see what I'd be doing. Maybe they just got gunked up a bit... Onward and upwards....

Thanks Perpetua, I took the first one out after about a week to "rebuild"! It never made it back into the device - my rebuild was binned. I've replaced the coil head twice since then - it's still getting tighter...

Has anyone come across a definite fix for the oh so tight draw on the BCC Mega? i bought one a few weeks ago and it was real good. But just lately it has become very tight indeed. I bought a BCC Mini soon after the Mega (as it was so good). The Mini is still chugging along nicely - but oh boy! That Mega is tight. I've seen suggestions about removing one of the loose wicks - or drilling out the air holes from 1/16 to 3/32 of an inch. Well really, if I had a drill bit that small, I doubt I could ever find it! Anybody come across a simpler cure?

Hi fellow spenders. Having (almost) done with ciggies after a couple of months of Vaping - I am almost a break-even with what I've saved on the weeds - but have instead spent on shiny new toys. Like most I started with tobacco juice in cheap and cheerful equipment. Then soon after decided to "improve" on the efficiency of my equipment. After improving most of my first efforts to a level where they failed to function anymore. I thought I may as well upgrade to slightly better equipment in the more traditional way - by buying bigger batteries and larger atties. After improving those to a point where they no longer worked either - I got the message. i gave up my aspirations to modify cheaper equipment and decided to buy what was already working well, and was already unbreakable. My JustGG and Ithaka being my current "shinies". Though they themselves seem to be virtually indestructible, I still have plenty of scope to cause damage - as I have started not only to mix my own juices (as opposed to store bought ready to go), and I've also started to make my own wicks and coils! The amount of juice that can be wasted in experimenting with rebuildables and repairables is amazing. Then - the flooding is another story... But - after having said all of that - progress is being made. Less juice being wasted, wicks and coils getting a bit better as time passes... it's all good...

Hi benc. I'm also new to this forum, and quite new to vaping. As you are doing I started with a kit, though as mentioned above, it was finding a suitable juice that finally got me to make progress. I was at 30+ a day for more years than I care to remember - we'll over 40 anyway. I didn't immediately cut from 30+ to zero - but very quickly was down to less than a pack a day. I'm a couple of months into vaping - and am now down to 1 or 2 ciggies a day - some days none at all. I've moved on from the kits and now mix my own juices and have started to make my own wicks and coils. I'm still struggling to cross the finishing line to ZERO cigarettes a day - every day. But I think a lot of progress has been made - if I can reduce to (nearly) ZERO, from where I was - it will I hope give "reason to believe" to anyone thinking of giving vaping a try. Good luck to you. It's never too late to Vape...
