Just had a mad, and perhaps very bad idea.
Rather than just cutting all the melted positive post insulator of my ruined clone I might see if I can increase the drip well size too and link them.
Been meaning to get a dermal anyhow.

Left mine for about a month, which in practice I do with everything . . . it did develop a bit of a ' scum ' at the top, which I believe others have experienced as well. Didn't bother me, I vaped it very happily all the same boyofford.  I'd think a week and it should be better infused . . . . Think it's already got a scum on the top, not seen anything like this before. I'll try and hold off for a week then Perpetua, cheers. Read somewhere that it needs a month but sounds extreme. I'm saying the V2 drip wells are combined so perhaps the chinese have put a V2 drip tip on a V1 clone ? I don't know as I don't have one but from the pictures I have seen of the clones they look like the wells are unchanged from V1. Perhaps someone that has one could clarify ? It's a hybrid, that's the conclusion we've come to. The drip wells are separate but it has the 9 air holes, no idea on the size of the top cap though, maybe me and boyofford could measure ours and compare them? That sounds wrong lol. That does sound wrong lol. It'll be here in a few days, snail mail permitting, so I'll see how different it is. The drip tip is definitely different, but not sure about the rest. Ok I think it is the V1 but, it is superb quality and it does come with a wide bore drip tip. It's really easy to get the top cap off even when not on a mod but it's tight enough that it doesn't wobble or fall off. Definitely a high quality clone, tobecco too. I got the impression previously from other threads that tobecco was a bit crap but no, spot on. I ain't got a wide bore drip tip so that may be a bonus.... was looking at buying drip tips and why are they so expensive! not much too them. Fasttech being the only really cheap place. |

I reckon its a v2 clone of the v1 genuine  ...my head hurts lol v2 in that it has three sets of holes rather than 4. The bit about reduced chamber size is throwing me a bit though.... that is a v2 original feature. still a great buy. cheers enjay |

Genuine v2  ebay clone  ebay one has o-rings on base? perhaps looks taller too. Are your wells linked? that would be the definite difference, extra o-rings could be just down to bad cloning. |

I'm convinced your right, its a clone of the v2 origen.....really surprised this came out so quickly....................bought one, gota love drink induced night time shopping  Not sure if I'll be able to sort my v1 origen clone out anyhow. so my dripper collection is..in order of purchase..... trident v2 clone, origen v1 clone, fatty v3 clone, plastic trident v1 clone, orieco storm, genuine castle, and soon origen v2 clone. ... what am I doing ffs, I've only got one mouth! V2 Origen has 1 drip well not 2, it might look like a V2 drip tip but I don't think the wells are combined. so your saying it ain't a clone of the origen v2? |

Yeah gimmicky... like someone had a 'great' idea whilst stoned and didn't leave it at the stoned design stage. The fact it will screw straight into a nemesis with the top cap removed is great though, wish I could do that with others. Vaping Red astaire in the trident and it ain't too bad as a strong flavour but constant refills is still a pain, it holds the least of all my rdas. What about something like this? Just while you're tiddly lol Yeah, but that is 20x1 threaded so will fit for caravela, windrowse, paps 2.x (not paps x), JM, swan, etc but not the nemesis, the nemesis is 20x0.5 threaded. Thought I'd add that in case a lurker was thing of making a purchase! I only found out about the hybrid adaptor type stuff as naffed the insulator on a nemesis in my meltdown! That does look a faff, I'd rather buy a dedicated well known and liked rba if I was into that to be fair..... looks like another stoner idea lol. |
