Sure- based only on my personal experience (no one has yet taken up my offer to test it!) the hat keeps working and working- I've been using the same one for a month now with no negative change in appearance or effectiveness. I have washed it a couple of times, but I don't know if that was necessary- just made me feel better.

As for atty life- again this is only an estimate based on what I've seen over using it for a month- I get no burnt taste, which I got before with carts / dripping without hat. I rotate atties anyway, and do a quick dry burn and rinse at least every fortnight. I've been using 3 regular 510 atties from LF and have not burnt any of these out since I started. keeping the atty wet is a tried and tested way to extend atty life - this method keeps the mesh and coil pretty much saturated the whole time, so it seems logical to suggest that it will keep things running smoothly for longer.

A major advantage with this addition is that you dont have to fiddle with filling leaky carts and likewise avoid the misery of reduced mouth flavour that carts invariably produce. It is essentially a way of maxing mouth flavour and the other benefits of dripping but without the other tedious aspects of dripping that often put people off.

I posted this on a foreign forum recently but would like my own compatriates to benefit from it, too. This method has turned around my 510 vaping experience and is now my only set up. I now get better mouth flavour, much longer vaping time and dripping isn't half as tedious as is was before...simple but effective! Anyway here are the instructions and video if anyone's interested....if not, I'll just enjoy the benefits of this little tip in the privacy of my attic, and no one need ever know!

You just need a either a drip tip or a simple 510 cartridge case with inner case removed (the lip should fit about 2mm into atty chamber) You will also need two pipe screen filters* (from most tobacconists).

1. Double up two pipe screen filters
2. Cut to centre
3. Form a cone and tighten/shape to fit your atty
4. Cut the top off the cone to create a small hole for airflow
5. Carefully drop Atty Hat into your 510 atty chamber directly over the mesh of the bridge and push/pinch with tweezers to a snug position so bridge is surrounded. (you should be able to see it peeking out of the small hole in your filter hat)
6. Drip three drops at first to break in, replace cart and vape!

* some have suggested using stainless steel screens, though I have had no problems with the brass ones, as long as you leave them inside your atty and dont expose to light when wet.

cool- thanks. Anyone tried quinine or extract of citrus peel/hop extract for bitterness? I'm thinking these would work if water based.

Hi and thanks for that- So far I 've been using Ecigsoutlet for Hangsen concentrates though its unlikely they would divulge their bulk source - also they only sell in very small quantities- no bulk. Ive tried so many other tobacco flavours though the new Hangsen (old Dekang recipe I think) is the only one I really really like. Loranns are good for the fruity flavours etc and PA are also great and strong too, but the Hangsen rule as far as realism is concerned. I can see lots of suppliers selling these liquids as "no nic flavouring" but nothing for concentrated flavourings.
