Judgey, I did this 510 atomiser cleaning tutorial a while ago - might help you. www.vapemeup.com/2011/10/my-510-atty-set-up-routine.html A bit of dissection involved but this is the only real way I managed to keep expensive atties going for more than a few days. On the other hand you could just switch to cartos-I find they're a lot less work! Dan

Hi all: My new 510 de-bridge/dewick video - hope you all like it. Recommend you try with an old atty first and use a wire mesh DIY bridge to extend the amount of dripping time you get. Still a few leaking issues but this is what I have for now.
Cheers,
Dan

Glad you found it useful-will hopefully be doing a few more posts on DIY liquids and may also post some recipes if I can find them.

Hi - I find anything with sugar in in it clogs up my atties as the sugar will caramelise around the coil and form into a hard, sticky blob after a while.
I use a few drops of my own Ethyl Maltol solution along with a solution made from pure sucralose and PG (don't use Splenda - it contains a small amount of sucralose in maltodextrin=another sugar). These are the best I have found so far for sweetening a mix with no technical side-effects.

Hi. I have tried some Tobacco Absolute from PA and found it too light on the TA and too heavy on solvent. Has anyone been able to find a reliable pure (the black sticky stuff) form of TA without the liquid solvent? Getting hold of some of this would allow me to mix at my own strength.
I have seen a few different brands of pure TA online but most of these seem to be aimed at perfumery rather than for vaping.
Any links/leads/advice appreciated!
Cheers!

Hi - I've searched through forums on this topic and can't find much at all - need to know if it's possible to rewick a 510 regular atty (Not Tank) and if so where I can get the wicks from in UK.
Thanks - any help appreciated.

Excellent work Tim - a triumph! Trouble is, now you've upped the ante with your Atty Snake, I'm gonna have to come up with The Mongoose Hat or something, just to get even.
I also noticed that it works best when the mesh is absolutely soaked and takes a while to get going, though once it's off there's no stopping it. Dripping willl never be the same again!
Btw, where do you get that gauze from? Looks much finer than my old brass screens.
Thanks again for testing that out and taking it to the next level.

Nice! Can't wait to hear about it. Hopefully my new stainless steel pipescreens will have arrived by tomorrow so I will be able to test out whatever you've got...
