was just thinking earlier when i saw this post that my MVP2 was very scratched up and ive only had it a while.

well,
my first session
decided on the following:
AFRO 15% FW butterscotch 20% PA bubblegum 20% CAPELLA blueberry 15%
70-30 12mg nicotine.
started by sorting all the syringes etc but clever cloggs thought oh i dont need to use the actual needle bits WRONG ,and
couldnt get in the bottles very well.
so added needles and added the nicotine first then the flavour - easy.
added the PG also easy
Then I tried to add the VG and while pulling the liquid up, the plunger was pulling downwards very strongly.
I realised that i actually had mainly air.
After a few goes i managed to get VG to the correct level but it wasnt easy transfering to the 10ml bottle as
it was running out the bottom.
so all 4 made and labelled up and nicely printed ,although they are not sticky and wanna slid off the bottom of the bottle lol.
oh i didnt think it was smelly after and i cleaned and antibioticed everywhere , but wife not happy as she says it strinks. oops lol.
so iam sure u will laugh but will also give me some tips on the VG front (dont really want to dillute though)
well i will learn after a few goes. i hope lol.
oh how long should i leave before trying ?

I'd like to say a very huge thanks you to 'newdawn' who sent me a loads of syringes and bottles for my new venture into mixing my own juice.
Dawn sent me loads, all i will need for ages and ages.
you are so kind and i really appriciate your gift and you really couldnt have been more generous with a full set and more of syringes, pippettes and bottles.
you are a real diamond.
As always i am amazed at how good people are on here.
A time will come when i can help someone else out , although i do and try to help the newbies as much as i can.

Most local chemists will sell VG as well  mmmm yes worth a look to see what they have and price it up, unlikely to be as cheap as boots but worth a go. |

when buying my VG from boots I also asked if they had measuring cups , lady didnt even know what one was so i gave up. oh and that was on the pharmacy section.
It didnt seem the most friendly to me either but they do good priced VG so will go with it.
will try my local chemist for measuring/mixing cups.

ok a mixing question.
I have some premixed flavours iam not keen on as singles.
could i use these as the PG part of the mix instead or maybe the PG and VG ? they are 70/30.
just wondering else there just gonna get wasted.
i do have a premix vanilla for one.

Quick comment. First. Welcome to the mixing club. It's well worth it. Second. Your % flavours look very high to me as a starting point. Personally, and this is personally I never mix over 10% if I havnt tried a flavour before. Third. Vanilla or French Vanilla is a great "base" to add other mixes into. Well that's 3 quick comments. Good luck with your brewing in the future. thanks Jim % flavours yeah maybe, but were advised by a lot of long standing members on here. (plus i do struggle to taste some flavours) vanilla yes might try that on next order. |
