my first homemade session - ups and downs- fun though

well,

my first session

decided on the following:
AFRO 15%  FW butterscotch 20%   PA bubblegum 20%  CAPELLA blueberry 15%
70-30 12mg nicotine.

started by sorting all the syringes etc but clever cloggs thought oh i dont need to use the actual needle bits  WRONG ,and
couldnt get in the bottles very well.

so added needles and added the nicotine first then the flavour - easy.

added the PG also easy

Then I tried to add the VG and while pulling the liquid up,  the plunger was pulling downwards very strongly.
I realised that i actually had mainly air.

After a few goes i managed to get VG to the correct level but it wasnt easy transfering to the 10ml bottle as
it was running out the bottom.

so all 4 made and labelled up and nicely printed  ,although they are not sticky and wanna slid off the bottom of the bottle lol.

oh i didnt think it was smelly after and i cleaned and antibioticed everywhere , but wife not happy as she says it strinks.   oops lol.

so iam sure u will laugh but will also give me some tips on the VG front (dont really want to dillute though)

well i will learn after a few goes. i hope lol.

oh how long should i leave before trying ?

Put a couple of mls of vodka in a separate bottle with your VG then shake it well, use this to drip into your mixes as it makes it the same consistency as the PG clivealive1

Boots vg is easy to syringe without a needle if my syringe doesn't reach bottom I use an eggcup pour some in then measure with the syringe. Vg is so cheap and easy to get I don't worry about any waste though there usually isn't much

You can just stick the end of the syringe without a needle straight into the boots vg bottle. I use the plastic 1ml and 5ml ones they sell for dispensing medicine to kids. When putting it from the syringe to the bottle, i hold the syringe above and squeeze out slowly as vg makes a nice slow stream down into the mix bottle.

If your syringes fit in the bottle neck, just put it in far enough to be able to suck up the vg, don't shove the whole thing in, it gets too messy. Also don't make any bubbles in the vg by sucking up and blowing it out, bubbles take aaaaaaaaaages to go from it.

Doing it that way means you don't need to dilute it

oh i have 2 different size pipettes what do i use them for ?

I use boots vg undiluted and syringe straight from the bottle without a blunt needle. When it gets lower I just add the biggest blunt needle I have, green and 14 gauge I think and it works fine if a little slower. I tried the pink 18 gauge needle athirst and no chance.

Get yourself a few green 14 gauge needles, there about 2mm diameter and you can also use them to wrap microcoils on.

Afro should be good to go tomorrow, blueberry in about a week and the rest will be best in 2 or 3 weeks
