There is a difference in red top newspapers hacking phones (although they really did only access their voicemails illegally through bad password management as far as I am aware) and the secret service of a country tapping voice calls of another country. As Bluefish says, everyone does it who can and those who can't, are trying to. Getting caught however turns the whole thing upside down, people will be scapegoated, actions denied, while the true work goes even further underground. It may even stop while they try to get round the latest detection, but as soon as they think they are on top, it will start again. Been going on since telecoms started. Telecoms engineer for 20 years (but never in secret work)

Vapers do a lot of research and eagerly read any new bit of info that comes out, plus we talk amongst ourselves, non vapers don't.
Sure they may read a couple of newspaper articles and then think they know the basics enough to argue a point, while we know better.
We all get it every day, but it is disheartening to read that younger doctors are the same way. I had an older nose/throat specialist who treated me, who knew nothing, but soaked up information like a sponge when I gave it to him (he asked for it). I know next time I see him, he will have read more about it. Whether it's for good or bad, I will find out.
I find that GP's have mostly already made up their mind and don't want to know anything new about ecigs, some are for and some against, the best ones are in the middle and evaluate ecigs as each new bit of information comes along.
You would have thought that they would class ecigs as a higher importance than they do. Stopping smoking is classed as a high importance, but often the treatment is brushed off onto a quit nurse, the GP's having little to do with it.
Fact is, the BMA view will play out in most doctors surgery's and if you consider the amount of information they have to engage about various things, this may not be a bad thing. Blaming the doctors is probably short sighted, blaming the BMA however is quite the right thing to do IMO.

All the insurance companies have their own rules though, nothing to do with your GP. As a layman, I can only take the opinion of a medical expert as to whether or not I am a "non smoker" and that is what I would put down on an insurance proposal questionaire. If the insurance company want to argue about it then let them argue with my COPD doctor who is a specialist in respiratory illness. As silentscream says, don't take risks with insurance. The argument is not what is your doctors idea of not smoking, it's the insurance companies. If it's there in the T&C's and it will be, then you are on to a loser if you try to beat it. Pick an insurance company that classes vaping as not smoking, although I have no idea which company has which policy. Has anyone done an article on it?

My COPD doctor knows that I am a vaper and my medical records have me as a non smoker since August 2008. Check with your own GP what he/she has you classed as. All the insurance companies have their own rules though, nothing to do with your GP.

I was a big Xbox 360 fan, but unfortunately I am no lover of Microsoft. Sometimes you have to practice what you preach. No more Microsoft products will enter this house, and when my Xbox live subscription is up then it will be promptly cancelled. I'm now using my PS3, because I won't ever again buy anything in a game box that has the word "Microsoft" on it. Getting the feeling I can't stand Microsoft? You Betcha! Jag. (I prefer my Android Pad to the Damned PC .....) Why?

Thanks, I've ordered from these people in the past, but I was getting overwhelmed by who I should order from and who would give me a genuine product.

Hi Miller! Making my own coils stopped me going back onto fags, as at last I could control my own destiny! They can however, at times, be very annoying.

So micro coils have the individual coils touching? I don't know really anything about them. Any chance of a photo rosco?

I need to buy an SD card, only about 8gb, but with all the fakes out there and me not being up to date with this tech and where to buy it....
Where do you advise buying it from? And what would you advise buying, it's for a canon sx150, 2 year old technology camera.

Yeah, of course another reason to wait is to see which console has "problems" at least one I would think, will have and they will improve the hardware on the next version. That makes me shudder, the crap i went through replacing faulty Xbox's drove me mad, ring of death galore I was lucky, I waited a while to buy one, after buying the Ps1 and xbox at launch. Oh, I also have a wii as well, but I've never tried a wiiU, I look forward to trying yours Sassy

I worry about pre-ordering anything from the games industry these days - so much seems to be released unfinished - and so I'm going to wait, probably until there's a ps4 slim, and see how keen I am on gaming at that point. Yeah, of course another reason to wait is to see which console has "problems" at least one I would think, will have and they will improve the hardware on the next version. Womble.... still smarting from buying a xbox at launch and the price dropping a £100 a few weeks later

womble and I chatted about this last week and I think we were both in the agreement the XBox seems to be venturing further and further from what it was actually introduced as, a games console, that instinctively puts me off because I feel like the majority of what I would pay for one isn't geared at the gaming experience and more of the 'media', something I couldn't give two hoots about. We have a kinect, we bought the kinect pack when we bought our 360 but it was for the kids, the Wii was getting old, waving about a controller had lost it's novelty and we thought the full body sensor thing would be great for the kids, especially with our less than spectacular summers and spectacular amounts of rain. It really didn't enter our heads the fact we could control the thing by voice and giving it a bit of a wave, didn't care. Just thought it would be great for the kids, and for family nights where we all use one of our consoles together for a laugh. There's a rather embarassing video of me deep inside OHs phone of me having to slap my thigh whilst I was riding a pig in Carnival Games. It's Oscar winning, but I digress. PS4, meh. Not been a PS owner since II, the only thing that slightly pulled me to a 3 was Gran Turismo, but buying a whole and at the time expensive console just for 1 game is silly. I know I'll end up buying one, if not both of them, I'm too much of a nerdy gamer girl not to, but in time for release? Nope, not sold enough to pre-order just yet. Although it's had hugely poor sales I still love the WiiU and I've still got a shelf of pre-owned games for the 360 I've not even started on yet. That is true about the xbox one and I did say that....... but it should have Halo 5 at some point I will be annoyed at paying for stuff I will never use, but that does depend on the price I pay when I buy it Maybe we could borrow swap some games for the xbox? I have some I hardly use. I hated the graphics on the PS2 for some reason, never could get used to them.

Ah yes, GVC, I was almost taken over with the hype and almost bought some, then I tried some at a vapemeet and it tasted like vanilla custard! Why would anyone want to vape vanilla custard, I immediately thought....

I live for shooting games, lol. Rainbow 6, I sort of loved then hated it, then loved then hated, often in the same gaming session. But I couldn't play it for hours the way I can halo or skyrim. It's a good job we are all different, or we would only have 4 games to choose from I suspect alot of the rubbish coming out about which console will be better, will all be forgotten once they have been in gamers homes for a while, I don't care which has the best memory, I care about how games actually behave and play.... and to a lesser extent, look.
