Sounds like a awesome lil project, my soldering skills are useless. I really fancy making something like a box mod very tempted My soldering skills are non existant, been over 10 years since Gcse electronics, which I failed lol

Possibly the biggest disappointment since realising that Bombay Gin isn't blue - it's just the bottle. A mere 9 watts increase, no aesthetics change, fire button still in an awkward place, the list goes on. No innovation here and Innokin have possibly shot themselves in the foot by being let's be honest, lazy. "But it's for newbies" - then get the soon to be reduced MVP2, where is the natural upgrade path? Who is going to buy this? This is a serious fail for a company in such a strong market position. Someone's gonna get fired for this mod. I'm more than aware that there is plenty of love for the MVP2 and rightly so but trading on the success of a previous model without really bringing anything new to the table is just marketing suicide. Rant over! Having followed the hype about this device and having read the link from VapingBad, I'm not impressed with the mvp 3. Don't think I'll be buying this version. Probably better spec devices for the money that innokin will be wanting for this. So much for at least 30 watts, bigger battery, evolve chip, oled screen. Sure looks like that has all gone pear shaped. Think innokin have scored an O.G. with this offering. Have I signed Into the wrong forum?

It is at times like this that I really wish I could get to grips with the pleasurable task of building my own box mod. However, my soldering skills are non-existent (never picked a soldering iron up, let alone possessed one!), and I really don't think that my shaky understanding of elecktrickery is sufficient, so will have to bow to your (collective) superior knowledge! I do of course wait with baited breath for the pictures No superior knowledge hear Andy. Just youtube lol

Its a really good video imo. He makes it look so easy lol. His wiring diagram is 8.09 mins in to video but he does show it a few times I did notice he used 2 x 15amp fuses not sure if you are planning to use them If I can find the right fuses then yes, but Im planning going quite low on this so 30a like in the vid would blow instantly. As for battery safety i know the batteries are capable of the builds i intend to fire. aiming for about .1ohm but obviously ill build upto that not just slap a super sub ohm coil on it straight away.
