BS marketing term IMO, only thing like a dripper is the coil is closer to your gob, but basically the same layout as genesis tanks (where the coil was closer to your gob) all be it for cotton with larger coils and airflow.

I think it's just that with a lower ohm coil you need more power so drain the battery quicker, you just need batts that can handle however many amps the watts produce, anyhow when it's flat you need to recharge lol Works out that way because generally the coil is physically bigger, but not because of the resistance. |

If I have it right, according to VapingBad , No. The power watts used is the deciding factor, so a .1ohm at 50 watts drains as much battery power as a .5ohm at 50 watts Now to get the same cloud age with a .1 you would need more watts and that would use more battery power. Maybe it's different for regulated, due to the circuitry, but.. 1 ohm at 50 watts pulls 7.07107 amps, whereas
0.3 ohm at 50 watts pulls 12.90994 amps?Maybe i've just got it all completely ass backwards.  I suppose wattage is the "power" part of the calculation so it makes sense! I thought amps had a factor though You are not taking into account the voltage AND current are BOTH different each side of the board, the current on the coil is NOT the current from the battery, like a balance scale or see saw one goes up the other goes down until they reach equilibrium or in this case the desired wattage. Watts are Watts, they are a unit of energy and cannot be created or destroyed, lost or anything like that in this Universe. It is one of the fundamental and least controversial laws of the Universe: The 1st Law of Thermodynamics. But resistance does change a tiny bit (a lot for temp control), but voltage and current both free to change to give the set wattage, the board selects a voltage where the coil allows the right amount of current to flow to get the selected watts. And that is NOT the same current drawn from the battery, think watts in, watts out for VW boards. |

You're choice comes Down to battery life vs power, both are good mods but if you're running high power through low ohms then the battery in the inbox will not last too long and you'll be better suited to the drone. If size is an issue then the drone is the same size as a realeux and the inbox just a little bigger than a billet box. Personally, I run 70-80w temperature controlled through a .3 ohm coil at 420cf and I get better use from the drone. That said, I'll never part with my inbox. Fixed that for you, ohms don't matter for battery life except for fixed voltage and mechs. I would wait and save for the 167 IIWY decoy, unless you are gonna get both. |

I meet a mate from up north I have parented on lots of projects over the last 15 years the other night and he described his reaction to me reply to a very log email: "TLDR". Much shouting, swearing and googling what it stands for we were attracting enough attention him just telling me in the pub a month after and now seeing the funny side. Serves him right, he knew how busy I was emailing me his life story marked urgent, I did action the main point and say I would help with the rest, but TLDR. (I though it was nearly as common as LOL) |
