I'm using a Tornego/rivaT and recharging the batteries in a multi battery charger for 510 batteries.
To use this you have to use a short extension/adapter to enable the Tornego/riva battery to connect.
I have found that there can be some electrolytic corrosion between the battery and the adapter, the corrosion is black in appearance and appears on the upper end of the adapter.
If your batteries are not charging correctly, try sticking the adapter in a battery drill and cleaning the end of the adapter with a piece of abrasive paper (about 320 grade wet or dry paper is good for this).
You need to be able to see a shiny bright surface on the the centre contact and on the outer contact, you should also be able to clearly see the white insulation material between the 2.
Also, if you look at the base of the male thread (on the adapter) you will see that there are 2 small holes, liquid can get into these holes and cause problems too, just clean the crud out of the hole with a fine needle or very small drill.
I have found the Tornego type batteries to be very reliable, and have only had one fail completely in the last year.
Hope this helps Cheers Barry
