And at that price it would have been rude not to place an order ! Looking forward to trying your wares Any plans to offer concentrates in the future ? Haha, thanks for the order! I should probably be careful as I don't want to break the vendor rules, but I think it's safe to say that concentrates aren't something on my immediate list of priorities although in the longer term it's definitely on the cards. Hi Rob, welcome. I think most experienced vapers would expect all of the above as a standard from a quality juice vendor so I couldn't vote for just one thing. In order of importance for me would be: 1. Quality & consistency of liquids 2. Customer Service & speed of delivery 3. Good range of flavours 4. Price of liquids & shipping costs Thanks, that sort of answer's actually much more useful than the format in the poll above. That's pretty much how I would rank them myself although I would probably switch 3 and 4 but that's just my personal opinion. Not that a good range of flavours isn't important; the only reason we have comparatively few is due to limitations on stock being a new vendor

Well if I have done nothing else but make you think .....Then that's a positive At least you look like you are going to try and provide a good service.....Not like some of the Vendors on this forum Lovely Time Everyone Thanks, I'm getting good feedback so far. No unhappy customers yet that I'm aware of so it's off so a good start The whole reason I started this business was because I didn't find it easy to get what I wanted from an online vendor, so I'm just trying to treat my customers as I'd like to be treated myself and provide the sort of product and experience that I would value. Hope to see you at some point in the future anyway, and I'll get back to you about the confidentiality thing. Rob - DarkStar

It's going in my lungs as we speak Don't blame you for being cautious though. Can I ask where you usually buy your stuff from, either DIY or premixed? Just because like to see what sort of information a company you would buy from provides in terms of reassurance about their products so I can emulate it in some way. No worries if you don't want to though, I know it's a bit cheeky! Thanks, Rob I buy my Nicotine from Decadent Vapours PG & VG from Liberty Flights and DV I have previously bought all three from vendors who are on this forum.....But have had issues....Very poor quality.....But I wont mention them. Since buying from DV & LF I have had no problems what so ever So I'm in the corner of the "You get what you pay for " mob Cheap ECig vendors will in the end ruin it for everyone of us......(But I am not saying you are in that) Good luck in your venture That's interesting, thanks for your reply and encouragement. I've just posted a poll partly to this effect in the general forum so if you'd like to throw your opinion in there that's be great. I agree that both DV and LF both sell top notch liquids. I tried a few of them while I was developing my own. We make all of our stuff with the highest quality ingredients possible to source in the UK (USP grade PG, EP grade VG etc), and we use highly accurate equipment and repeatable processes when mixing our liquids so you can be sure anything you might buy from us is consistent and top quality too. This thread has made me start thinking about how I can display more evidence of this so we can be regarded as on the same level as those guys. Early days yet anyway, but thanks for stimulating my thoughts Thanks, Rob

Hello AAEC!
My name's Rob from DarkStar Vapour and I'm a new member/vendor on the forums.
I wanted to get your opinions on what the most important things are to you when buying from an elqiuid vendor, both as sort of market research exercise and as a matter of interest as it is something I spent a lot of time thinking about while setting up my business.
Obviously all these things are very important but I would like to know what you think is the MOST important.
Looking forward to seeing and reading your responses.

manufacturer/supplier could be regarded as commercially sensitive information, especially if they're selling their product at different prices to different customers. by the way rob, my email account doesn't like your second name 'scam...' gives this message, "Be careful! This sender has failed our fraud detection checks." Get your drift.......But its going in my effing lungs.....Think I got a right to know !!! Jeez It's going in my lungs as we speak Don't blame you for being cautious though. Can I ask where you usually buy your stuff from, either DIY or premixed? You are in York . . . .Not far from me..... I'd be interested in calling in and seeing your shop...... Where in York are you ? We're on James Street just behind Foss Islands Road: www.darkstarvapour.co.uk/contactWe don't have a physical store or even supply to any for the time being as I'm trying to build our business around ecommerce sales only. It keeps things nice and simple, and also allows us to sell directly to our end customers which is a huge advantage on many levels. You are more than welcome to come by to check out our lab and office though so long as you let me know beforehand

Yeah.....I'd like to see the outcome of this Can't really see why there has to be a secret about testing Nicotine......All very strange My guess is the 'confidential' stamp is there for employees of the testing department rather than me as a buyer. I will certainly check though and let you know. Perhaps they just want to keep this information away from competitors to avoid giving away an information advantage or to prevent them from being able to figure out important aspects of their manufacturing process although again this is just guesswork. I really don't think it's anything to worry about though as this particular company also supplies to at least one very large and reputable chemical re-seller in the UK that I know of (namely Monarch Chemicals who are huge in this industry) I'll keep you posted as I find out more. Don't need any nic base at the moment but your liquid prices were to good to miss so I've risked a tenner, always like to try out new vendors and juices That's great, thanks for your order! Good choice too. We've been getting getting especially good reviews and feedback of the Fruits of the Forest and Fresh Lime flavours so I'm pretty confident you'll enjoy them The only thing to mention is that we've had really high demand over recent days (much higher than anticipated!) so most of the liquids will have been mixed in the last few days which means they will benefit from a bit of steeping time. A lot of people (me included) think they're pretty good fresh though so you shouldn't have to wait too long. Each bottle has an individual 'bottled date' on it which is the date that the liquid was mixed so you will know how old each one is and therefore how much steeping may be necessary. 1 week is more than enough in my opinion but they do improve over time as with most liquids. Thanks Darkstar Can I ask.......Why would you edit out the Manufacturer etc etc and logos ??? Just so us noob's understand whats going on I just noticed that it said 'confidential' on the document as I scanned it so I thought I should edit their name out of it to avoid upsetting them as they are a very important supplier to me. I'm not 100% sure it was necessary but better safe than sorry. I will contact them tomorrow and ask if I'm allowed to show the original Rob - DarkStar

Here you go: I've editied out the manufacturer name on the stamp and in the header/footer just to be careful which is why there are no logos or company names on the document. They are based in Northern Ireland though and are highly regarded in the industry. Rob - DarkStar

Give me 5 mins, I'm just scanning it for you now. I'm new to the forum so you'll have to bear with me while I figure out how to attach it properly!
