Greg I bought an extra long chimney top so if need be cut down just screwed it on to the bottom part of the chimney and it bottoms out on the base before sealing ohh i could scream.

Yes seen this tutorial oneday pointed me to that a great guide thanks dave when i do things up i have a tendency to break them fingers like sausages and i just keep tightening so annoying.

I run silica wick 3mm down both sides same as blakey pics with a 1.5ohm coil its vaping like a gooden at the moment so loving this attie, I have read that some people only run half the wick down the side to hold in the wire more juice but dont think i need to go there.

Is there such a thing as better silica from different vendors if so where is best to get it from ?

Thanks guys for all your tips and info, Ive just sat down and rebuilt her before i put the tank back on screwed it onto my vtr checking resistance and to make sure she fired properly, Reading 1.6 ohms which is fine and using silica all good so far. Then i unscrewed it from the mod to complete the rebuild and noticed the 510 was lose Dammmn it had come loose again.

Wondering if the screwing and unscrewing on to the mod is working it loose then i read this thread and noticed the rubber washer but its all back together now and working well so will wait till next strip down and then insert a rubber washer and do the z shape on the wire to.

Such a lovely bit of kit even the wife likes it Thanks to blakey hijack dave OneDay for your help, Will try ekowool next time round aswell.

a couple of questions

can you and if so is there a guide for microcoiling a penelope v1

The little nut that gos insde the ceramic to hold the pin in place keeps coming un done which is giving me eratic ohms readings any ideas or a fix please.

Hi all

As the title says looking for a KFL top part of the chimney i lost mine I ordered one and when it came it was to small i found out that the chimney part that pushes into the top cap (the part i need) o ring comes in 5mm and 6mm (outer diamater) i need a 6mm one.

Also looking for the clear tank conversion for a penelope v1 please, if any on has one laying about they would like to sell.
