Rewicked it today with a lot less cotton, Had a few problems filling kept coming out the drip tip but notice the o ring had not seated and hey presto its a steam engine in my hand  Thankyou to everyone for there help and advise its much appreciated. Love the Kayfun Grandad |

That looks good, probably more cotton than I use on a mech mod. It doesn't look like the cotton is burning. I don't think you need more wick. What mod are you using. IF VV / VW what setting have you gone up too? Are you still using the 1.8ohm coil? Maybe try less cotton, that amount looks like it's filling the juice wells completely. Kayfuns can take a little experimenting to get the right amount of wick. The clones have varying size juice channels which confuses things as well. From the looks of it that one has fairly small channels. One of mine has very small juice channels and I found that it needs very little wick, maybe half the thickness that you have there. When I rewick I put the lower part of the chimney on then soak the wick in juice and tuck it into the juice wells and push it to the flat side slightly, so when I look into the juice wells I can see the channels clearly. Have a play with different amounts of cotton. The cotton should just fit inside your coil. Hi I'm using an SVD on the wattage setting have gone up to 9 watts but was worried about going any higher, yes still using the 1.8 ohms coil. Will have another try tomorrow with less cotton and reposition the wick as well. Hi @cornersruns its a 3.1clone I believe I bought it from a member on the forum, I tried the blowing through and OK. I wet the wick before rebuilding and needed them up against the the square sde walls leaving the channels clear. Thanks for quick reply Grandad |

A little help please wicked my Kayfun keeping the channels clear all back together and filled from the fill hole in the bottom screw leaving a bubble at the top and not over filling.
I've tried all different watts from the bottom up slowly and not getting much vapour, the taste isn't to bad but vaping Red Astaire 18mg its not what I've seen on videos or expected.
Stripped it all down and everything how it was, left a 1mm gap above the air hole from the coil.
Any help or ideas appreciated, using microcoil 1.8 ohms with cotton.

My personnel experience with Naturevape, Ordered 2 N vape mini pro tanks and 1 N vape midi pro tank (slightly larger) have been using all 3 for about 3 weeks now and excellent vapour and taste from all 3. I emailed them about something and a very quick reply and helpfull. You can re wick the coils yourself which is easy just a little fiddly. Again just my experience Grandad |

Grandad forgot to add, can't see 100% with the picture but make sure the coil does not touch the center chamber, again i can't tell by the first picture but it looks very close. yeh i checked that was very close so raised it up slightly Super-Shiny , tried another coil at 8 turns as surgested and spot on 1.8 ohms thanks for that great info :-) |

Grandad try 8 turns if you want lower ohms, it's what i do with all mine now, should come out around 1.8ohms p.s Very nice coil and looks spot on  Will give that a try @super-Shiny thanks for help and advise P.S A great thread |

Hi been following this thread im doing a micro coil and cotton wick for the first time on my newly arrived Kayfun, Ive done 12 turns of 0.25 on a 2mm drill bit as Super-Shiny said and its comming out at 2.7 ohms is this correct please. A few pics just to see if ive done it right please   Grandad |

I just recieved mine in the 510 connecter is there a slot can you not unscrew it half a turn to make a connection. This is all new to me but looked at mine and i can unscrew the screw and it comes down 1mm or so maybe enough to connect.
