I usually have 4-5 flavours on the go at a time. Don't like too much cleaning and maintenance. However if I had them all running I could potentially have 13, which would be too much work! Currently using Aspire CE5 BDC with Blueberry Aspire CE5 BDC with Arctic Menthol Aspire CE5 BDC with Grape Aspire ET-S with Softmint iClear16 with Cola Need to ditch the cola though, too throat heavy for me. I would reccommend having at the VERY least 3 tanks running at all times to stay off the cigs. I always ensure an all day vape, a morning vape and a night time vape at all times. My extra 2 I have running cover after meal vapes, and one strong menthol to get rid of that occasional bout of vapers tongue hope this helps. You needn't go crazy but just assess your needs and make sure they are catered for

No problem folks, I thought they would go down a treat. They are an exception from a crowd of average gear but the reviews I read made them kinda stand out. Also a good way for me to learn about rebuildables thought an RDA was a good place to start. Haven't actually ordered them yet though. Gonna get a couple of each. Since all coils are gone looks like i'll be learning how to recoil them pretty shortly. I know I'll need coil and wick but what in the way of tools will I need? And is there any tutorials about on how to microcoil them?

I am on mobile so can't attach links but totally wicked have a couple drippers in their clearance section on the website. The mini one is £1.20 and the slightly larger is £1.60. Also selling ready made wick and coil replacements at just 60p for 3 sets! Have read a couple of reviews and they are supposed to work a treat. I'm just about to order some after writing this

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas as to how we can go about any of the above please share them. I would love for more people to get involved! Today has provided me with a great opportunity. A friend of my mothers has been advised by her GP to stay away from e-cigs making a very blunt claim that they are more dangerous than analog cigarettes!!!! What the hell?! How is this man a doctor? Anyhow, I now have the name of the GP in question and the practice he works at. I will be writing him a letter today to present him with some real evidence and strongly challenge this viewpoint, making requests to be made aware of what this claim is backed on, and challenging him as to whether he is really interested in the health of his patients... I will be polite and concise, yet firm and scientific. And I will let you all know of the response. These are the moves I am talking about making challenge everything from the ground up.

I many suggestions and questions all kind of rolled into one. May seem a bit of a far out in my thinking here, but reading through the wealth of information we have available here I feel there is huge scope to affect change concerning EU regulations that are probably coming in the near future. These are all ideas or questions that I have that may have been asked already 1. Would people be willing to cover geographical areas and put on information evenings regarding the corruption that is taking place between big pharma, big tobacco and the EU. This is a hard thing to get people interested in to some extent but word travels fast, and if each person is speaking to even a small group in the right way, showing the statistical impacts on public health, lining pockets of companies who have been responsible for hundreds of millions of people dying for the last 70-80 years, the impacts could be hugely beneficial for the whole of society not just the vaping community 2. How many of us are pressuring our local MPs to take a stance and voice an opinion on this situation? Can more be done here to get this situation into the political realm from the ground up? How informed are they and do they really understand the significance of what is going to happen because of the TPD? Do they know the damage it will do to public health? We have to offer more than "it helped me quit the fags". We have enough to create strong logical arguments. Its getting them heard though. I think rallying mass amounts of people requesting to speak about this with MPs could make a difference (preferably a mix of both vapers and non vapers). 3. How many of us have or are considering ways to make the NHS take a stance on vaping? Can we offer anything in the way of knowledge and experience to ensure the opinions of our doctors and hospitals are not biased towards bad press, lack of understanding and making presumptions based on fictions. Again, requests to speak to important medical figures in the community, small groups offering informative talks and presentations to hospital staff etc. 4. How much connectivity is there between communities? By this I mean the forums, and not just the UK ones. Yes we have ECITA and the EFVI, but what are we doing to be connected as individuals and communities and how would greater connectivity between the UK and rest of EU users affect the ability to work together to be heard and make a difference? With the right organisation well timed executions could create much bigger impacts that rippled over Europe if people were collaborating more with ideas, enthusiasm and working together. After all, UK users are a small percentage of the total within Europe. 5. What can be done to get media attention concerning these matters, namely the negative impact regulation is going to have? How can we create a positive stir in the media about vaping. For all the bad press it has recieved, any reporter loves a good story - why aren't we feeding our opinions and ideas about what is really going on, and why, to the media from the ground up to stimulate as much shit as we can for big tobacco? Are we really making a conscious or consistent effort to embarrass the politicians who still support regulation? Again, with the wealth of information we have available here in terms of statistics, consumer research, proof of efficacy etc, we should be really trying to humiliate politicians opposing us : what amount of reason has lead them to do so? None, only £££. All of this may have been thought of or talked about before, but while ECITA consider the pursuit of legal action against the EU, and the EFVI continues to grow, should we not be making waves to get public opinion on board with us? Show the rest of the public this is as much about them as it is us at all opportunities! Make waves in the media, get radio coverage, local papers on board. Lets do everything we can. As someone on the ECITA website commented, e cigs are the best thing to happen for public health in a century. To lose this chance to change the way we approach the massive problems that arise from tobacco use would be more than a shame. I empathise with all of you and can feel your anger. But I also see so much enthusiasm and positivity on these boards. Everyone has a talent to be put to use to fight for our rights as informed and free individuals. Lets figure this shit out starting now and we can affect massive change by 2016. Lets communicate about how we stand up for ourselves, each other, and really make a difference to the world we live in and how it is run. Apologies for the late night rant, hope at least someone will understand what I am getting at peace and massive vape clouds to you all! Mikey x

So a new vape shop has opened in Kirkcaldy where I stay. Their selection is small but they are friendly and aside from not being vapers themselves, they know a lot more than the likes of the vapers in Socialites or VIP. The shop is pretty bare but they had some reasonable prices and stocks. For example an Ego-C twist 900mah was only £15. A vamo V5 with a couple basic clearos was £50. Also had a couple VTRs @ £65 amongst some beginners gear, a few accessories. They also stocked a wide selection of juice - all dekang and not so cheap... £5 for 10mls or £12 for 30mls. Suppose they have to make their money somehow. Nice to see somewhere selling reputable gear at reasonable prices. The overall experience wasnt great - only one stand and the shop was totally bare otherwise. However they gave me a free liquid Thinking about setting up a shop come cafe around here. None of what is available in current B&Ms provides a great experience. The shop has massive room for improvement but a step in the right direction when compared to socialites or VIP which is the only other shops/stalls we have really!

Another short and sweet one. This flavour was a let down. It had ample steeping (4 weeks) and was vaped in an iClear16 @ 2.1 ohms. No VV and thinking back to it now, this may have brought out a lot more of the flavour. However, from the bottle I didn't pick up a single hint of lemon or sweetness. The taste throughout my vape was sadly the same for me. In a nutshell it was bland and I found it to taste of.... Well nothing I suppose. Wish I had more to say about it but I really got nothing from this one. I have now reviewed all of the Darkstar juices I ordered and must make clear that you should not in anyway let my couple of negative reviews put you off ordering from them. Everyone's tastes are different, and everyone uses different devices which provide a unique vaping experience. I enjoyed trying all these juices and gave the thumbs up to 3 out of 5 in the end. Considering some people order a handful of flavours and only like one, I felt this was a good ratio of likes and dislikes for just one juice order. Hope the reviews have been of use.

This review will be relatively short and sweet. Nothing bad to say about this juice. Vaped it in an Aspire CE5 BDC @ 1.8 ohms, strength is 24mg. It is exactly what it says on the bottle, nice strong menthol flavour and very cooling on the mouth. On the inhale there is a very gentle sweetness and hint of peppermint sweets. On the exhale it is nicely overcome by a cooling, refreshing strong menthol kick. Overall the flavour is not too complex, but I found it a highly enjoyable vape. Of the 5 flavours I had ordered, this got the most use. It is actually the only one I still have in a clearo at present. I was never one for menthol analogs but was pleasantly surprised to find how much I enjoyed this. So much so I found myself in a complex about making it last as it was so good, but also wanting to keep filling my tank because again, it was so good. If you like your mints/menthols then this one is great. A really nice plain menthol vape but certainly doesn't lack in anyway. If you have never tried a menthol but wanna give one a go, I would personally reccommend this liquid as a great starting point.

Also, by the time I had tried this it had been steeping for around 5 weeks. Thought this info might be useful too.

Vaped @ 24mg in an iClear 30b @ 2.1 ohms (I think :/ ). In all honesty this one was a bit of a let down for me. I found the flavour much too sweet. It smelled very pleasant, fruity and complex, but sadly for me the taste just didn't match up. On the inhale I got very gentle hints of a fruity/berry blend. I found that this was quickly overcome with quite a sickly sweet taste. Not a sugary one either. It was very much an artificial sweetener kinda flavour. (I personally am not an advocate of the use of sweeteners, nor do I enjoy them, so this quickly put me off). On the exhale, I found the sweetener taste to become even more overpowering and it really masked any fruit flavour that was there before. Overall the flavour was quite bland and for me there was not much else to it other than the sickly chemical sweetener taste. After getting off to such a good start with the blackcurrant and lime flavours this one was a bit of a let down. I thought owing to my changing tastebuds that I would persevere with it. Ensured my coils were at their prime and vaped at different times throughout for a couple of days but I'm afraid in the end this liquid just didn't do it for me. Personally if I had paid the full £4.99 RRP for this I would have been absolutely gutted. With all that said, don't let this put you off trying some other flavours. While I wouldn't reccommend this one from Darkstar there are others I certainly would.
