Surprised I haven't got round to doing a review for this yet! Been busy with real life sadly. I have now tried all the flavours I ordered so will review them all. Vaped in a Mini PT 1 @ 1.8 ohms on an ego battery. As before, strength is 24mg and ratios 70/30 PG/VG. Took me a little while to adjust to this flavour. Even after the coil was hitting nicely it was hard to get my head afoul how I can describe this. In a nutshell, I would say it's like a spicy mojito without the mint. The flavour has a nice complexity, can be a little harsh for the first few hits but once you adjust it is most enjoyable. On the inhale you get the nice sour flavour, when it hits you I find you kinda want to screw your face up like when biting a lime. On the exhale you get more of the fruity flavour coming through followed shortly by a subtle spicy taste. This may not be so prominent with lower nic strength, if anyone has tried weaker and finds this to be the case then please comment Personally i found the spiciness is very pleasant when you get to grips with it, it gives the flavour something more than just lime. After exhaling, the whole mix of flavours come together and leaves a nice tangy feeling in the mouth. Overall I found it quite a stimulating flavour. Not a liquid I expected to like but glad that I tried it. Was my go to vape for about a week, but it seems as with all flavours, I get bored easily. This stood out to me, as with the blackcurrant I tried I found it very very close to a lime itself, even with the slight spicy twist. I would highly reccommend this flavour to anyone who likes citrus flavours. As before and always, these are just my own opinions, honest and unbiased.

SmokeRainbow, will be ordering with you as soon as payday arrives. Going to just order a 306 and drip tip with yourselves. Can get cheaper elsewhere but the postage makes up the difference. Can I ask, how are the liquids packaged/labelled etc, how many fits in the tin box, and how much are delivery charges. Many thanks, Mikey

I am currently singing praises for the Aspire ET-S. Glass tanks, stainless steel outer for a little protection. Only fractionally bigger than a mini protank but with 3ml capacity. No issues with leaks when it's set up nice and right, BDC (bottom dual coil), excellent flavour, vapour. Can be fully disassembled for cleaning too which is always a bonus. And I seem to get a good couple of weeks of moderate vaping per coil which far outperforms my iclear16s and 30. Don't own an MVP but would look the part I imagine. Got mine for 6 quid on myepack. Sure others will have plenty reccomendations for you too

Hey Mikeyvape did you try the rest yet mate? I just got my order from Darkstar this morning. Desert Ship Royal Liquid Amber Black Fire Fresh Lime. So far the Royal is a good smooth tobacco and I dunno if I'm imagining it but I'm getting a subtle coolness on the exhale. The free bottle of Fresh Lime is really nice. I didn't think I'd like fruit flavours but this is really tangy with a kinda complex taste as well, spicy? Not sure how good my taste buds are after smoking for 23 years lol only been vaping a month The Black Fire is a full bodied, strong smokey tobacco -Powered by Android- I have tried all the others now smity, some were great and some not so great. Will get some reviews up tonight while chillin at home. Keep an eye out if you are interested

Well I was about to do some reviews of the other Darkstar flavours I bought but since I am vaping this right now I thought I might as well put up a quick review. Strength is 24mg and ratios are 60/40 PG/VG. From the bottle it smells exactly like a blue pack of Trebor Softmints. I have to say it is pretty spot on in that regard. When vaping it is very enjoyable. I have found many liquids taste different to how they smell so I didn't expect this to be so good. On the inhale you definitely get the mint nice and strong, towards the back of the tongue you seem to get a nice cool menthol. On the tip of the tongue it is soft and sweet and it seems to roll over the tongue nicely. Have found a couple of friends menthols/mints I have tried to be a bit sharp and spicy. This is very smooth in comparison. On the exhale the whole flavour seems come right across the palate. It is not exact but so so close to a real softmint. Hard to explain how but if your tastebuds are good you can definitely sense the artificial flavourings, however this doesn't make it a bad vape at all. I am finding this hasn't bothered me with this liquid (nor any to start with) but now my taste buds are settling a little I seem to be veering towards the natural/organic flavoured liquids. That said, I will be ordering a 30ml bottle of Softmint come payday. When I am buying I am really looking for the liquid to taste exactly as it describes and this is the first liquid I feel hits the mark. There is the slightest room for improvement, but I am fussy. Overall I feel it is excellent, and along with the other menthol I am using this is an everyday vape for me. Would happily puff it all day long. If you like your mints and you haven't given it a go, grab a taster bottle and do so

Thanks for the follow up Mikey@Vaporized, I like the way you are explaining what a lot of us have found; that our taste changes as we get further away from Smoking. I found my tastes settled after 5 or 6 weeks, and what I liked at first, I'm not that keen on now. If you have any more juice reviews I'd like to read them as well, you've already got me looking at Darkstar for my next order!! I have tried quite a few of them since then. I'll get some reviews up and try and put a bit of what I found then, and how I find them now

Fair play @yinyang, you make a very good point. As for the crux, that's where I think regulation is appropriate in a sense. It should ensure a quality of goods and services definitely. I just mean specifically the smaller liquid makers who make very well rated e-liquids. Bigger companies will handle the taxes, but what about those that are very passionate about it and simple can't afford to keep up? It's great that we wouldn't have to put up with horrible liquids yes, but would be ashame if a lot of the liquids you used suddenly disappeared. lobeydosser, I suppose I would in the end rather pay for quality and consistency, just opposed heavily to lining Westminster's band of thieves pockets.

I really believe in just doing whatever the f*** you please, within reason of course. Where no harm is done, it's fine by me. My advice would be for mixers to stock up on litres and litres of nic base before 2016. At the end of the day, the government never knew about me selling my duty free cigs in their hundreds to friends with no tax paid. I fail to see how they can fully get a hold of the ECIG market. There's always a black market for everything, granted a lot of people that participate in it may not produce to the same standard, but for many small/artisan makers that might be the only choice to keep it going - sell local and stay quiet about it. I for one would still give my commerce to someone doing so provided the products were of high quality and consistency. Really if it's dealt with in the right way, taxes could be avoided for years. Cigarette tax is quite fairly justified as it has risen in line with the amount of spending required from illness caused by analog use. Unless some drastic GENUIN health scare about ecigs comes out, they have no real reason for taxing. Even for non users it certainly wouldnt be good, public opinion would change drastically if we were told our money was being taken without justification. I would hope so anyway...

sloppyvape - looking for med to high nic levels. 18-24mg would suit, 24mg is my usual just now. Even a few mls of low nic to get an idea flavour would be great though. Thanks for the shout mate SmokeRainbow, I have considered this option several times, only issue is I don't have a dripper so would be difficult to sample so many small amounts. Will try get one sorted though and would happily get an order in with yourself.

Looking for some triphammer liquids to try. Only really vape fruity, sweet and menthol flavours atm so any of these would be great. If anyone has even a few mls left that they are willing to part with for a few quid in return it would be great. Want to try some out before ordering bigger amounts from the website - £3.50 for 5mls is steep but would happily pay the £11.99 for 30mls if I knew I would like it Still on the look out for that everyday vape. Most interested in trying the Blue Surprise but anything sweet and/or fruity would be awesome. Cheers for looking.

I'm with @tubthumper on this one. It's wrong. Right enough it is a job, and that can be said in a number of ways that make it sound justified. The truth of the matter is that the workers are being paid in blood money. They are feeding their families on money made by killing, their livelihood comes at the cost of millions of peoples lives every year. Some people would say that's a bit extreme, i just see it as the truth. And as was said you don't feel sorry for the dealer who goes broke. That said I would still do it to feed my family if I had no other way, but I would still see it for what it is and I personally wouldn't feel great about it. I feel sorry for people losing jobs in any industry, absolutely. That is happening all across the uk economy though, and I am kinda glad that big tobacco are suffering. Think how many people have suffered at their hands and it puts it in perspective. The workers will hopefully find jobs as new industries grow and flourish. The company and it's board of directors deserve all they get... I alwayd wonder how many of them use the products they produce?

vapebake - the iClears are great I am quite new to vaping, they were my first step up from the CE4s. The flavour and vapour is noticeably much better. They are very hungry coils though, they burn through juice fast. Also had several issues with leaking, constant cleaning etc. If you go for them they are best kept upright at all times when they have juice in em. I moved on from them to try mini protank, Evod, aspire CE5 and iclear30b. Commited to buying the aspire ce5s in the end. Best flavour and vapour production out of the small amount of clearos I've tried, hassle free so far, and if set up right there is no issues with leaking. Like has been said, buy a few and see what works best for you, seems down to the individual and what others love, you may not. If buying a few clearos to try out I'd definitely include the aspire though
