I got one for 25 squids from eurovapez about 6 weeks ago. They were very limited stock though I think. Wanted the black but had to settle for blue but wouldn't change it now. Looks really nice. Just to add more indecision for you will be a worthy investment whatever the colour though!

Ok. I couldn't resist going back downstairs and having another tinker. I removed the wick (which wasn't burnt) gave the coil a good dry burn, rinse, and another dry burn. Rewicked with a tadge more CW. Primed with a different liquid and put it in my mini davide instead this time. And... Although the first puff or two tasted slightly chemically it seems to be peforming much better now. Set the voltage at around 4 and it's hitting pretty hard. Guess the taste should improve once the cotton has bedded in a bit. All in all pretty pleased with my new found coiling skills Reckon I'll pick up a blowtorch tomorrow. Saw them at a local discount shop for a few quid. And maybe a little multimeter. This vaping lark's great! Always a new adventure on the horizon Ps I used .25 kanthal for my build... Ment to mention before

The cotton isn't fragranced. I've been using the same stuff for rebuilding kanger heads with the precoiled nr-r-nr ones from FT with no funny taste (always fire the coil a few times before threading the cotton)
Don't think I burnt the cotton but I guess it's possible. I primed the wick first. But did attempt to vape on it PDQ after screwing it on to the tank.
Will try again tomorrow with a fresh wick and give it all a good rinse and dry burn first.

After picking up some kanthal in a recent trade I attempted to make a microcoil this evening. I followed loosely the guide by Super-Shiny. I didn't have anything at hand to accurately measure the inside diameter of the coil wich meant my first try came out at 3ohms using 11 wraps. Ditched this one and tried again wrapping around something thinner and got 2.2 ohms from the same number of wraps. Got it looking nice and neat and threaded through a moderate amount of CW. (After firing it a few times to try and burn off any impurities). Was very pleased with the results cosmetically but I found I was getting quite a strong chemical backtaste when I took a vaape on it. Was also gurgling a bit in the T3S I put it in (probably just needs a tadge more cotton). Any ideas why I might be getting the nasty taste? A couple of thoughts I had was that it could be the rubber bung getting burnt by the legs... Or perhaps getting a bit of a taste from where I flamed the kanthal. Had to use a lighter as I haven't picked up a blowtorch yet. Any ideas or suggestions?

Forget the dry ice... a group of vapers sub ohming side stage should do the trick

Cheers Super-Shiny I may give that a go as I have some Golden Rollie (no caramel or MTS though). Been finding GR tastes more like tea than tobacco but I do quite like it.

Cheers @super-Shiny will look out for that one. Interested to know which flavours you've been adding the AP too to get decent results? I'm actually more into biscuity tastes than nutty ones i think. I had some Hangsen Hazelnut which was really rank after a while. Quite like PA toasted almond and the inawera 555 is very nutty to me but in a nice way

Cheers steve next time i do a mix that seems would benefit from it i'll try sticking in 1 or 2% and give it some steepage. I'm tempted to try it in some kind of desert juice as i reckon this could work nicely Bread and butter pudding maybe? Yum

Hi Pixilocks Welcome to the forum If you're wanting to try cotton wicks / replacing coils etc. it IS pretty easy once you get used to it but can be a bit faffy to start with. Not everyone has the time or inclination to mess about with such things. I started rebuilding the kanger heads after i'd been vaping getting on for a year, and you do get a good vape off them wicked with cotton. If you have any old heads lying about i'd be happy to rebuild a few for you with a 1.8 ohm coil (got a bunch of the prewound ones from Fasttech) along with a cotton wick. Just PM me if you want me to convert a few for you. Someone else will probably do you a fancy microcoil if you ask nicely which would probably be your best bet but i've not got into making them just yet. As for juices I can recommend 'Mom and Pop' stuff. Tried a few from them and all been really nice. Not sure if they do ready made juice though as i just been getting concentrates to mix my own. On one called Krunchberry at the moment and it's like vaping a fruity bowl of cereal.... you can even taste the milk. Might not be to everyones taste but i'm quite liking it at the mo. Good luck with it all

I ended up putting two drops into my tank this morning. Couldn't taste much difference with one drop so put in another but this seemed to counteract the already nutty taste of the 555. Not sure if it just needs time to steep for the full flavour to come through or if i just chose the wrong juice to add it too...?
What tobacco flavours have you tried adding this with @super-Shiney ?
Anyone else have experience using this stuff? Does it need steeping?
