Speaking as a potential winner, I think it would be good to sample DIY juices

Well done Clivia, it wasn't that long ago you were hesitant to try recoiling yourself. Well done for passing on your skills you were my main help with coiling - and your little case became somehow my vape good luck case - full of coils and cotton - and I had a really nice lunch break with goneforagasper, who was far too polite to tell me that the chocolate of the cappuccino left it's marks around my mouth - lol - as I discovered later in the office I thought it was nicotine

Would love to have been there, watching Clivia give it some welly with the blowtorch!! Great example of the community spirit here on the forum where people work to help each other. goneforagasper - do you feel ready to give it a go yourself now? Yes had a go at a 1.8 - turned out to be 2.0 but was pleased for 1st attempt

A big thank you to Clivia for giving up her lunch break to give me a re-coiling lesson today. We met in a posh cafe in Leeds where Clivia got out her Kipling vape equipment bag, unloaded her tool kit and proceeded to teach me how to make a coil and reassemble it. The clientele in this patisserie were very impressed especially when the blow torch came out. I now feel more confident in coil making and am currently practicing so it will become second nature. Once again many thanks Clivia it was a real pleasure to meet you in person.

mmm. Seems to be pretty hit and miss. I've never had a single issue with the nautilus, but the aerotank mega has seriously let me down. That could be down to the heads tho. I use the Vamo v5 too so defo nothing to do with that. I'm even considering removing that review til I can get some of the older kanger dual coil heads. Sometimes for one person one piece of kit is better than the other. For someone else the result can be the complete opposite. The problem then is do we recommend what we prefer, or what someone else prefers? It's getting so frustrating I may just stop recommending kit in favour of recommending a 'group' of things to try. Maybe the Naturevape coils would be worth a try in the Aerotank, they certainly make a difference in my Protank 3

goneforagasper, what mod was you using to power the nautilus? And which coils did you buy? 1.8 Ohm coils tend to give a better taste than the 1.6s. The maths is marginal, the difference in performance is better than the maths would suggest. Vamo V5 The heads which came with the Nautilus were 1.6 and 1.8 both worked well - the replacement pack is 1.8

Hi Jack - my limited experiences are:-
Started with starter kit from B & M which was unreliable Moved on to Protank 3 and Protank mini 3 - different class - then upgraded the heads to naturevape - better again and can now do my own rewicking.
Got a Nautilus and a pack of 5 replacement coils - this was another step up and worked brill with the 2 heads which came with it. When I started to use the pack of the replacement heads it all went downhill. Performance went down dramatically. Naturevape don't do heads for the Nautilus but I have found a rebuildable coil from Vapenquit which I have got but not used yet so I am hoping it will perform as well as the Naturevape ones.
Hope this info helps

mind you I can only do micro coils - great for protanks and evods and I guess even for the Nautilus - yet to be done - and the kayfun - yet to be arriving from China I have protank 3 + protank 3 mini and Nautilus worked it that way so I would only need 2 different coils
