The steel tanks work well but only drawback is you don't know how much juice you have in lol but they are worth it Which one do you have tazmania441 and what do you do regarding knowing when to fill - do you just check each night and top up as required

Looking to get a stainless steel tank for Nautilus. The ones I have seen are the Aspire and the Signature Tips ones - does anyone have any experience of these tanks ? The most cost effective way is to buy another Nautilus with the Stainless tank included but is this the best option Any advice would be appreciated

has floating centre pin - do you think coil size will make a difference eg 1.6 or 1.8 ohms Um, a little. Are they dual coils? A 1.6/1.8 ohm single coil will most likely not survive on a fresh battery. (too much power for off-the-shelf). I've not tried dual coils on a mech.... somebody will know. They are dual coils

Should be ideal. (Stingray has adjustable pin?) has floating centre pin - do you think coil size will make a difference eg 1.6 or 1.8 ohms

I have ordered a Stingray mod with the intention of using it with my Nautilus but have read somewhere it may not be suitable. I know rebuildables such as the Kayfun are more widely used with Mech mods but I don't feel ready to get into recoiling. Any advice would be appreciated

Had another go. Bought some textured vinyl material from ebay black finish cost £1.25 inc p&p !!! Printed out the Vamo wrap template and got help from my wife whose hobby is card making and we used brad hole cutters for the holes and craft knife and guillotine for the cutting. I like the look and the feel of this better than the J wrap and when I removed the J wrap there was no residue. I have kept the J wrap one in case I change my mind but at the mo I am very happy with this DIY wrap

No problems wrapping - there is an overlap even without any stretching its just the plasticy feel that I don't like I expected it to be raised profile. Good to hear and hopefully you'll get used to it. Do you think the wraps will be easy to peel off without leaving any residue? I have the Vamo v5 on the way from Focal and was looking at the wraps for future reference, some cool designs too Don't know about residue if it does something like IPA should bring it off

I know nothing about re-coiling Jack, but don't go back to the stinkies. Someone more knowledgeable will come on soon with advice
