lairey Managed to fill it from the bottom after correctly placing the o ring and I'm now getting a leak from the airflow? Small hole on the bottom deck. I covered it and opened the top as if top filling and screwed onto thread slightly then turned upside down, let go of air hole and tightened. Got juice on my hand from mouth piece and air hole still leaking. She's on her side just now till I can figure it out. Looks so easy in the videos but it's not

Very nice. I got my stingray x today too. How do you lock it? - With the locking ring, it's not reverse threaded - it works really well. ??? What's a locking ring? Sorry this is my first ever time

The o ring is sitting on the chimney. Should it be top middle or bottom lol?

Help! Disaster! All my lovely red Astaire is pouring out the the drip tip as I fill from the bottom. I put cotton in and tested fired with some juice then put the chimney on and tested as shown in the video. So put all the tank on and started filling from the bottom. Got about 2 ml in and it poured out

Ahh Roscopecotrain so less wraps = lower ohms. I read all the ohms law stuff but it doesn't want to stick in my brain. Once I get this first build under my belt I'm sure it'll start making sense

Hi rednutt that mandril is sized from 1.5 to 5mm. The second smallest is 2mm, if you use 9 wraps of 0.25 kanthal round the 2mm mandril you should get 1.8 to 1.9 ohms. Note the 9wraps will become 8.5 wraps when you unwrap half a turn to set the legs opposite for the Russian deck My 8 wraps is 2.2 ohms so 1 extra wrap would lower the ohms slightly correct? Trying to get my head around all this haha. Next step after this bits mastered is my 18350 battery going in my new stingray x. Don't want to break my new shineys

Ok did 8 wraps round the second part(2mm) of the mandrel and fixed in place using your video. It's coming in at 2.2 ohms. Made sure it was raised up a bit off the deck. I'd 2.2 too high?

I have the mandrel tool that super shiney links to in his guide. Think it goes from 2mm up to 6mm. Once coiled I can stick it on my itaste battery to get the reading. His coils came out at 1.8. Sample wire is only .17 so .25 I'll use and I'll be back shortly to let you know how bad I really am
