If you go for a Zmax, I'd recommend this one from FT. The Vamo V2 and the Zmax won't fire anything sub ohm, but both will work very well with coils around 1.4 ohm and upwards. I use both with my Kayfuns and as long as you're not looking for vast clouds, both will serve you well. If you want a KFL from FT, go for this one I recommend it so much I have 6 of them! What is sub ohm?

V2 from FT Mine has been faultless for 18 months, better than the V5 I have. I also have a Trustfire charger, it was my backup until the Nitecore packed up. Now I have a new nitecore but I I have promoted the Trustfire - a bit slower but that means less strain on the batteries and they don't get warm charging. It comes with a battery so 7 weeks delivery time. FT ZMax is a lot better looking. Mine (bought elsewhere) is 2 years old and similarly faultless. And what attys do you use on the vamo and the zmax do you recoil yourself?

Just a small comment. Vamos don't like low resistance stuff. All those awesome dual coil atomizers are a bit tricky to get high enough to fire. DJS hides behind sofa...Haha when I think I'm getting somewhere I get smashed back to square 1 so would the answer be different mod or single coil attys which is the best answer

I like the look of the kayfun v4 and can wait but would rather buy batteries and charger from England somebody earlier said to get a v2 vamo as the earlier versions was better would you agree? is the kayfun easy to rebuild

Can't beat either a Caravela or Nemesis from good ol' Fasttech - both clones of course, but great devices and if you get a "full set" you will get tubes to take every size of 18xxx batteries. Which incidentally you should source from this country, either Torchy or Ecolux on eBay do good prices and know their batteries really well. Good comms and delivery times too, although I find Ecolux a bit quicker down in the sticks! I still reckon you should consider an iStick for a backup though . . . . I'll get my coat! Am I right in thinking there both mechanical mods? Would I then not need something else to check resistance or something I remember reading (confused)
