If you check out my posts on mixing I do cover flavourings and the best way to go about working out the percentage of flavouring used. you'll find this in the "Flavourings" section, where I also give a simple maths equation for working out your percentage with examples. Yes, I've read all you've written in Mixology a few times, it's just the numbers that sometimes make me a little confused  As a matter of fact, perhaps I should adjust my process somewhat. I'm afraid my taste buds have suffered a lot after 20 years of smoking, so when I test what I mix I normally use quite a lot of that juice to test properly, sometimes I just go on and fill a smokymizer, so it's not just a couple of drops on the atomiser, and trying to account for all that used juice in the final calculations is sometimes challenging  I will definitely make sure to read the percentages section as many times as it takes until I remember it by heart Seriously, I think that's a huge amount of invaluable information all in one place and all mixing noobs like me are really lucky to be able to read it  Thanks! Hi Grizwald, Thanks for the tip, that's what I kind of suspected. 15-20%, now that's high! To be honest I don't like adding until it feels right unless I know at least approximately where to start, my math skills leave a lot to be desired and working out the % backwards makes my head spin. Like for example, start with 5ml, 8 drops for 5%, then test vape, then add drops then test vape then add drops then try to figure out at what % of flavouring I am - always a pain, if you know what I mean  |

hey Gordy, Yes, that's what I did - started low and left it to steep and it's now sitting there and I smell nothing, so thought somebody might have a clue as to the best % to start with |

Hi folks,
A quick question: I received a bottle of DV Statex concentrate from LF the other day and finally decided to try it but can't find anywhere at what % to mix it. I know I'm supposed to be real careful with tobacco juices but this one doesn't exactly smell very powerful, how should I mix it?

Hi folks, I'm tired of looking for an E-Power in the EU and going to go ahead and buy a couple of sets in China along with a bunch of eGO Mega DC Cartos. Before I do though, I wanted to make sure these actually fit on E-Powers without adapters as LF are selling a version which they call E-Power DCC and that makes me suspicious that perhaps I may have a problem if I go for "regular" EMDCCs. Anyone to shed some light on this? Thanks |

A good option you selected. I think are a good solution to get satisfied while remaining a non smoker. I selected this option twenty years back and now am so happy with the same. Best of luck. 20 years back? ??? I didn't realize e-cigs existed back then, were you in an ultra secret NASA projects or something? |

Thanks for the warm welcomes, folks There was a bit of a struggle with what I think were nic cravings because of the ecig and the carts I was using (not enough nic/vapour/anything at all really), took me about 3 days to give up on analogues completely. I'd have 2-3 cigs per day during that time but didn't stress much about it I believe if I started with what I'm using now there may have been no struggle at all. OTOH I used to be a pack a day smoker, perhaps I'd have to push way harder if I smoked more than that. I have an eGo that I use at work with SmokTech DC LR cartos, a VV PT I got from Jason for when I'm at the computer and an Echo (also from Jason) for everywhere else. I've been looking real hard at an E-power 14650 but Liberty Flights are out of bundles at the moment and no other stores I buy from have them. LB told me they'd restock soon though, might be a good Christmas present for myself |

Hello all, Been lurking for a while, reading about stuff and educating myself. Posted today for the first time and there were so many welcoming replies that I thought I'd also also post a more formal introduction I stopped smoking over 2 months ago after about 20 years and never looked back (even though my first e-cig was a seriously bad model). I should say vaping has become a dangerously obsessive addiction for me but I'm enjoying every minute of it I'm about to dip my toe in mixing my own liquids some time soon (stuff on order) so expecting a few questions from me in the DIY section is not unreasonable |
