Hi Friends,
I've got a brand new, authentic Nautilus and I love it. But it comes with one issue.
Instead of being screwed into the base, the coil head is stuck into the chimney. And I mean stuck. I can't unscrew it for the life of me. And I'm afraid to apply too much force and break the tank.
This is seriously problematic. A, because I can't change the coil head. And B, because I cannot remove the glass tank and wash it, as the coil head prevents the narrower part of the tank from sliding off.
I've screwed on the base, screwed off, on again, etc. I've used paper towels to get a firmer grip on the coil head. Nothing doing.
Would someone please have a tip on how to unscrew the coil and make sure that next time it stays screwed into the base?
Many thanks!

The Paris Ecig Show was the opportunity for me to discover Italian liquids. Without question they stole the show, imho. Blendfeel has two lines of juices. A classic and a more sophisticated one. Some Classics I really enjoyed very much, so here goes. Melon Tobac BlendWe're talking green melon here. Possibly the best I've ever tasted. No chemical taste, not acid, just pure, intense fruit. As fresh and thirst-quenching as the fruit itself. Not a hint of sugar. The title evokes some tobacco here, but to be honest I can't taste it. Whether in an Aspire ET-S or in my Nautilus, from 6.5 to 8 w, all I get is the melon, and it's quite intoxicating. It surprises me, as I usually get bored with single flavors very quickly. The juice is just smooth enough, well-rounded, sitting on what I feel is an excellent, tasteless base. It doesn't specify on the label, but I'd say 60/30/10 PG/VG/Water. Not a lot of hit in the 9 mg/ml version; try a higher dosage if you need more of a punch. A very, very pleasant summer vape. My favourite in this line so far. Blend Tea Tobac This is Moroccan-style green tea with mint, on a light and dry tobacco base. At 7 w in my Aspire, I first get the green tea, which is of medium strength and good quality. Then mild tobacco. Afterwards comes a surprisingly smooth green mint, as different as you can imagine from koolada or mint drops. Herbaceous, and very soft. It blends nicely into the tea. The liquid is rounded up with a touch of honey. As above, the base is of high quality, mellow and tasteless. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this one is closer to 50/40/10. At 9 mg, hit is not huge, but makes for a good all-day. Mosca - Macchiato coffee with sambucca aniseed liquor Another very clever, elegant, well-rounded mix. Delicate coffee, toned a bit down and made creamy by a decent amount of milk. Lightly sweet. It is very well balanced by the aniseed flavour of the sambucca. The aniseed itself is not very sweet, not heady either. Great harmony here. Now I usually do not care for aniseed liquids. Well, I couldn't vape this as an all-day, either. But the complexity and balance that the dry sambucca offers with the creamy coffee is extremely pleasant. So much so that I found myself going back to it after a few days, at the end of a meal. I'd say the Italians emerge as a force to be reckoned with. There were liquids in this line that I didn't care for as much (not crazy about their Panna / Fragola - strawberries and cream, which I found to be on the chemical side) but all are smooth yet very flavoursome and satisfying. I'll post more about the "Evolution" line from Blendfeel, the more complex mixes, in a few days.

Hi Friends, For any and all who might reside in Paris or thereabouts, the main French forum organizes a Vapoday on June 14th. Should you wish to attend, please send me a PM for details. Inscription fees are 22 Euros, which include food & drinks as well as the renting of an apparently lovely large hall in the suburbs. I am not the organizer, but will put you in touch. Hoping to see you there!

The same rule of thumb that works for Fasttech seems to apply to Focalecig.
When it says "Authentic", it's the real thing. When it doesn't, it isn't.

Hi ! Rule of thumb on FastTech is : When it says "Authentic", it always is. When it doesn't say "Authentic", it never is.
Doesn't mean it's not a good-quality copy though.

+1 with teethcv, +2 actually: - Mint, though I really dislike vaping it, rebooted my tired tastebuds. I vaped it following some advice on another forum after a poster had the same "it all tastes like diswhwater" problem. Palate good as new. - Evods... Oh dear... Tried them in several shops, tasting liquids by Five Pawns that were supposedly high-end. Found them all boring and über sweet. A couple of weeks later, tried the exact same liquids on a Protank II... Couldn't believe the complexity, the refinement, the taste. On an all-day basis I use the Aspire ET-S BDC mentioned by teethcv. They're relatively inexpensive, hassle-free and they give me a lot of taste and vape.

Hi All,
I must confess I'm a huge fan of the fruity flavours from Solubarôme. To me, they taste better than Ina, PA and FA. Not so crazy about their sweets / cakes / custards/ liquorice etc though.
If you need translations from the website please let me know - Google does curious things sometimes...
Here's a review of what I've tried so far. French names first, so that you can find them on the site. Tested all fruity flavours at 14 drops / 10 ml (using the dropper from the original bottle) in 70/30 and 60/40 bases, 6 to 9 mg/ml nico.
Citrus Orange douce Brésil / Sweet Orange from Brazil : a really enchanting orange, not too tart and not candy-like, very natural Clémentine Brésil / Tangerine from Brazil : a bit more tart (tarter? tartier? ??? ) than the Orange, again flavoursome and natural Pamplemousse rose / Pink Grapefruit : natural, full of flavour, a total favourite Yuzu : I love the yuzu fruit, but can't seem to get the "citrus bomb" effect from this aroma. Nice as a substitute for lemon, but considering the price, you should probably get the lemon. Cédrat / Citron : am in love. Adding a few drops of Romarin / Rosemary for a more complex juice, taste of a Provençal garden, one of my all-days Bergamote / Bergamot : whooo tiger. That's a bergamot with a vengeance. Wouldn't advise using it solo, but does wonders in a citrus mix. Needs some serious shaking before use.
Fruits Lychee : out of this world. Fresh, complex, elegant, one of the few flavours I could vape all day without adding anything else. The only person I know who doesn't like it... doesn't like the lychee fruit in the first place. Try it. Poire / Pear : I find it more natural than my Ina pear. Liking it very much and playing with it a lot, adding it into tea or almond flavours. Ananas frais / Fresh Pineapple : that's the pineapple you want to get from them, forget the "Ananas jus" that is really disappointing. Still, this one is for fruit lovers, many find that it lacks sweetness / ripeness compared to other brands. Not tart but just barely sweet enough. I tend to go above the 14 drop mark when mixing it with other powerful flavours such as banana. Banane flambée / Flambeed (?) Banana : again, get this one if you want a true fruit flavour as opposed to a candy flavour ("Banane bonbon"). Doesn't taste flambeed at all imo, just very ripe. Very potent, too. The grandmother of all bananas. Loving it. But I go under the 14 drop mark when mixing it with pineapple, coconut etc. Noix de Coco Tahiti / Coconut from Tahiti : nice enough, it's got that dessicated coconut pulp that I'm looking for. Not sweet at all. Not quite as potent as I'd like. Goyave / Guava : ah yes, tastes like guava nectar or perfectly ripe fruit, I like it. (I've got Fig but it's still steeping, smelled rather strange out of the bottle, will come back to it.)
Many French reviewers seem to agree that : Mangue / Mango and Fraise des bois / Wild strawberry are disappointing no matter the dosage and should be given a miss.
Flowers and Spices Violette / Violet : yessss. Nice if you like violet. I mix it in all sorts of ways, a couple of drops for a flowery, springtime taste Rose naturelle / Natural Rose : get this one, not the other Rose on the site. Natural and potent. Of course as a standalone flavour it will taste like toilet paper. But mix it with almonds, cream, pistachio... and it brings an interesting dimension. Cannelle / Cinnamon : a good cinnamon, works well in mixes, no harsh undertones Gingembre / Ginger : not so much. I was very excited about a ginger aroma but I find this one tastes of ginger powder, very dry and harsh, not too pleasant.
Again, per other reviewers, the Tahiti Vanilla is not great. On the other hand, in the Additifs section, they've got something called Ethyl Vanilline, which adds a fantastic vanilla aroma to other flavours. Top notch, I think.
Others Thé Noir / Black Tea : oh boy. I was this close to drinking it out of the bottle. Not your average tea, it's got undertones of fresh peach, like a homemade ice tea. Complex enough to be a great all-day. I must confess I actually bought two 58 ml bottles : one to vape as a standalone and one to mix. Miel d'Acacia / Acacia Honey : very nice, some strong notes and a mellow vape. Using it as a substitute for ethyl maltol at 4 to 6 drops / 10 ml and very happy with it. Amaretto : no thanks. Not almondy enough for me. Sweet, smooth, lacks oomph, liquor and almonds. I've tried it with pear, with various citrus, with rose, doesn't get any better for my liking.
I should probably add that most of the fruities can be vaped 24hrs after mixing, providing you shake them well. I know vapers who tried them after an impatient 20 minutes of steeping! and they liked what they had. As a rule, I wait 4 to 5 days and am very happy.
I would recommend mixing them in small batches. They tend to lose flavour after about 4 weeks.

Wow! Now that's a warm welcome, thank you so much! Feels like home already. Jess - that was rather unexpected, and really cool, thanks! Not sure how to ping you guys (so as to get your name in bold+colours), but I'll manage, someday... Interesting how sets of smilies differ from one country to the next. I wanted to blow you all a kiss, but that doesn't appear to be a default action. On the other hand, you seem to be throwing a lot more parties. Makes sense... Anyway, here goes:
