the clone was good, worked great.
can only imagine the original to be as good if not better.
The only thing I didnt like was the paw print battery cap that needed the key thing to get out.

Been almost a week wth the doggy now, and for a dedicated Protank/Aerotank user, I'm quite liking it. The stronger nic juice helps with the throat hit (must mix some more up) but I've not tried it with silica as yet. I will do, just for the sake of it, but considering a dvarw to try now as well  Personally Id skip the silica and try lifting the coil up, I did it with some cotton and the throat hit was quite substantial on my 80vg/20pg 2-3mg juice.
The dvarw is an excellent RTA, probablly the best vape experience Ive ever had from an RTA.

I have a euphoria version same set up as the penny but does anyone know if that add on for normal coils fits it? Would love to use it again but it's a lot of faff... the original gg version dosent fit the euforia, differing threads. vapor freak in germany used to do a clone part but ive just checked and they are no longer doing them.

No reason it should leak. Even with no wick. And it would only flood if it overwicked like crazy, which is unlikely with silica. Mor likely to dry hit. No dry hits so far and no difference vape wise than cotton tbh. conclusion, may as well stick to cotton as its a load easier to build.

managed to find some silica and .3 wire. Been a while but managed to put a pretty shitty lookin coil together lol. 1.4 ohms, not really my cuppa tea but for the purposes of experimentation thought Id go for a standardish MTL build. Only half filled the tank as if its going to leak it will be when the juice gets low with less vaccuum in the tank.

You could try putting a silica wick in the DS, should work out ok. otherwise play around with the height of the coil from the air hole. iirc increasing the gap should up the throat hit. I admit to being a bit of a novice with RTAs, so if this isn't a dumb question.... with the size of the juice cut-out at the bottom of the chimney piece, won't using silica wick increase the chance of flooding/leaking?? ah, good question. would depend on the thickness/dia of your silica I suppose but it should swell slightly when wet with juice and plug the hole. I have some silica (somewhere) Ill have a play with mine and report back the results for you ..

i used to make my mods with standard 10 ml juice bottles at first.
most regular juice bottles are hard enough to squeeze with both hands let alone 1 finger.
stock up on your favourite softies while you got chance.
