What I should have put is the model when describing the mod , the mod is the Kato box mod , not the hammer , hence why asking about whether the Kayfun V4 would fit without taking the top section off.

This is , AT LAST , an encouraging report , but one thing always strikes me when I hear these reports.
That is , they always say " A way to stop smoking leading to give up nicotine ( vaping ) altogether ". Now , I don't know about anyone else , the change to vaping for me wasn't to give up , it's an " alternative to combustibles ".We all know that vaping isn't without risk , but we know about these risks , as far as science is telling us at the present time.We also know that people DON'T realize that there is nicotine in fruit and vegetables , so we don't ever really give up on nicotine anyway , just the strength we take it in.
Has anyone else changed to vaping as an alternative and not to give up ?

paulymeatballs do you have a Genuine Kayfun ( I know you don't have a V4 ) that you can compare with it , vape wise ? The reviews that I've seen and heard so far say that it's not a big difference taste wise since the last model and other similar atty's. vapegeek you say this is a 1:1 clone , which I believe is 23.3mm wide at the widest point , will this fit straight into the Kato clone ring or does it need to have the ring removed ( on the mod ) , then put back on after the atty is fitted ? Do you have a genuine kick to see what battery size can be fitted ? Will it be a 18500 or a 18490 ? Thanks for any answers. Andy

I hoping now this has been announced that a replacement/upgraded VTR will here with us VERY soon.It NEEDS to have a ring that can take a GT II as a minimum size , upgraded board ( for more options and control ) , keep the fire button in the same place but move it up 10-15mm , have a better battery door or a different way to put the battery in and be made lighter in weight.
Here's hoping it will be soon.

P.S As tempted as I am with the MVP 3.0 , my MVP 2 is doing just fine.

I can only think of three things off hand that may be the problem.
1) When it landed , it landed on the center pin and pushed it up , so not connecting to the mod.
2) When it landed , it landed so that the center pin moved out and the coil is not touching the center pin.
3) When it landed , one or more of the O-rings came away ( especially on the inside , as it's a lot more difficult to see ) and the center pin is shorting somehow.
That's my 2 penny's worth anyway. If you have a magnifying visor/glass you maybe able to see more , OR compare with another one , if you have another one of course.

I started my vaping journey with Hangsen "Gold & Silver" , but quickly found that I have a PG intolerance , where it gives me a quite a sore throat. So being able to have this would make me happy , well at least I hope so , my taste buds may hate it now , lol.I also liked their standard RY4 too.
As far as other flavours go , I don't know , as I went away from Hangsen , because 99.99% of places just have it in the standard 80/20 PG/VG mix.A very small amount of places had SOME 50/50 mixes.
My personal favourite mix is a 20/80 PG/VG mix , it makes the juice very smooth , I don't get a sore throat and the juice still retains a lot of it's flavour.I've tried a few 100% VG mixes and found the flavour to be quite muted, but as I said that maybe just me.

I can see exactly where Greg is coming from. I don't want to get a juice anymore that I really like then find out it's only in one ( small ) bottle size , company has no intentions of selling the concentrate or larger bottle sizes and end up having to order a bottle every 3 days. I don't want to end up spending as much on juice as I did on fags , as juice prices for mid range juices seem now to be between £5.50 and £6.50.I bet those kind of prices won't be going down either ! I'm lucky that at the moment my ADV is priced very well indeed and I've been ordering regularly since I started vaping 7 months ago , so that company gets my repeat business , which is what businesses want and need to survive. The ONLY draw back with that company is that they haven't introduced any more flavours in the 7 odd months I've been vaping , such a pity.So I'm on the look out for more very reasonable priced juice manufacturers that have different VG ratio's and concentrates ( for when I start making my own juice , haven't got enough for the initial outlay yet ) , so I can have a selection of flavours , as I only have 2 at the moment. I mean , come on , whose going to complain , I have to stand on my head to see it , I then pass out due to a blood rush to my head and then wonder why I'm on a heap on the floor , then repeat as I'm trying to look at the picture again Andy P.S I suppose I'm partially to blame here as I did almost insist on photo's and @letsavit is the only one to do that so far , lol Andy

I can't believe that this hasn't been a thread yet , if it already has, then please forgive me . I'll start this off with my two , first is my Vape stand from Abstract Vape :- Next up is my fun T-shirt :- I also treated myself to a Kanger Subtank and a lovely new juice ( Afternoon Tea's - "All Scone" ) , both from vanillavapes . So , what did you lot get and I would like everyone ( if they can ) to post pics ? Because sometimes descriptions don't do the products justice.Even with the picture of my vape stand , seeing it flesh is better than the picture , but a picture is always nice. Andy

Just an update. I went to vanillavapes today and got myself a Kanger Subtank , got it home and immediately put a build on the deck , and it really kicks the butt of the Mini Fogger's that I was using before.I was always running my Evod's , Protank II's and the Mini Fogger's at between 6-8 watts , now I'm running this at 12.5 watts at 1.3 Ohm's, single air hole on the Subtank. With the inclusion of one of the Siam drip tips that I got from garrydibley a few weeks ago , things are getting better. All I can say is WOW , flavour explosion. If I hadn't of had my son with me , I could have stayed all afternoon talking and trying out their juices. It was a nice relaxed and very professional looking place , the staff were all knowledgeable about what they sell , and nothing was to much trouble , just the way a B & M store should be. I know that lairey has mentioned them before and they are WELL deserved of another big mention. Andy Great, aren't they Andy... you should have said you were going, they're only a few miles down the road from me... next time you're in the area, give me a shout! I was toying with the idea of linking you in before I went , but I didn't have hardly any time and I had my son with me and he really wanted to go to a toy shop , just a great pity that the toy shop just round the corner from vanillavapes was absolutely pants , good job he's just had Christmas and he's got plenty of stuff to play with at home.
