And a charger for a jump start! Glad I inspired you to have a go. Ohms jumping about a bit this morning but settled on 1.7 which isn't too shabby. Super-Shiny why do ohms go higher then lower? I've had this before but never figured it out Which method did you use to taking off the excess coil legs , was it the helicopter method or snipping with nail scissors ? Andy

I've just listened to the Radio 2 interview ( and will be listening to the world service one very soon ) and Professor Ashton started the interview being antagonistic by calling SIR Clive Bates , Mr Bates, whereas SIR Clive Bates called him professor. I seems as though professor Ashton hasn't been any kind of scientist for some time, as he seems to have learnt the way of just talking over people , even the host for quite some time , it comes to something when Jeremy Vine has to shout to get him to stop talking and let Sir Clive Bates actually speak. Advertising to children ? Where has this been , I'm sure it would have been plastered everywhere if it had REALLY happened , no proof.Leading to blindness , he totally lost that argument , as Sir Clive Bates's reply was , why haven't we seen a high percentage of smokers going blind.
Then just to cap it off after those two had finished , Jeremy Vine spoke to a 82 year old woman and even she said that E-Cigs aren't sold to children as there are signs saying "Over 18's Only" on shops , so that's wrong.
The people I feel sorry for are, the people he works with, the people that work for him and his family.IF he had proof in what he was saying and he would need some kind study at the very least.
Now off to listen the World service interview.

Sorry guys think I'm going to have to pull out of the meet up, lots of drama at work which has resulted in me losing 30 hours of work next week and will be the case for a while. Just don't think I can justify the costs for a few hours out. I'm going to have to say no as well. I haven't had any work for a fortnight now and nothing on the horizon.I'm having to look at minimum wage laboring jobs, as I can't get any information about plumbing contracts that are within 1 and 8 miles of me.I thought after retraining it would be a struggle at first and then things would get better , this has definitely not been the case. Thanks for tagging me in Tan. I can vouch for this whole hardheartedly.I went to a store , which was an ex franchise of Vapor-Z , we were in that particular area for the day and I went in.To start with I was totally ignored when i went in to the store as I was waiting by the counter. One of the 3 ( I certainly don't think they were customers ) and they had to tell the guy someone was there. He came to the front and said " what do you want ? " , I thought, that's a nice entrance , I asked if he had 2 or 3 products , he just said "No" and added nothing extra, then started to talk to the other people in the store.so , I just turned around and walked out.He didn't say anything like, "well we haven't got that , but we do have this" etc etc etc.I might have bought something.Companies that talk to people like that when they don't even know you , let alone been in contact before , from a totally different part of the country , is unbelievable. So , what Tan is saying , even if it has Vapor-Z above the door , if it isn't the addresses above then it ISN'T Vapor-Z and you won't get the professional level of customer service and the great range of products. Its not hard to use the duel coil heads for single coil builds. You just need to check that the cotton fill the bigger slot so there are no gaps for the liquid to leak in and flood. Its quite easy once you have it back together, you can fluff up the cotton a bit and it should fill any gap there might be. After the cotton is threaded with chimney, you can see a big gap Now blow hard on the cotton ends and fluff Now adding the cap squeezes the cotton down filling any space that may lead to leaking. hijack when you are putting the coil into the head do you - a)put something through the coil to make sure it doesn't move ? , b) do you raise the coil up from the bottom of the slot somehow ? , c) are you using a 1.5mm internal diameter wrap ? I ask these questions, because I like the look of the Protank 3's and Mini Protank 3's better than the 2's , but the coil heads aren't interchangeable. Andy

Going a LOT off topic , sorry for this. I've been looking for a replacement for the keychain that I've been using for many years that I got in "The Gadget Shop".The Karabiner ( not for climbing use ) is about 8-9mm diameter ( round in shape ) 80mm long by 42mm wide at the longest and widest points and the same shape as the one above. The strap in about 50-60mm long and has two sewn loops ( I don't know what material ) at about 13-14mm diameter incorporated in the 50-60mm length.Which is similar to the one in the photo above. As I've said , I've used this for many years , but I'm looking for a new one , I can find nice Karabiners easily enough , a family member works at Snow and Rock , so no problem there and split rings aren't any problem either, you can get them anywhere. So as you've guessed by now it's the small strap like material with the integrated loops that I want to get hold of. I would like to get a complete set, decent Karabiner and strap , but all I can seem to find is the small ones which are very cheap and nasty. Can anyone help ? Andy

This is a double edged sword.
We need the EU for business BUT we should refuse the policies that they are inflicting on us.
Also , these idiots aren't even elected.I think a lot of countries send the most annoying idiots to the EU just to get rid of them, then they come up with BS like this.
I listened to Jeremy Vine last week on Radio 2 ( who to me most of the time is just annoying at best ) and the Hoover situation is just phase one, in a years time their reducing it again to 1200 watt then a year or so after it goes down to 900 watts.A lady on the show has a cleaning company said this ban is for everyone and she won't be able to get anything above the EU limit and she said "The companies aren't going to pay me more because it takes longer to clean them, effectively cutting her profits by a big margin , so is the EU going to going to pay for that ? " , she has a point , when the immensely dumb people in the EU make up these rules , they don't even consider the people that rely on such things for a living and just do a blanket ban. Mr Cameron needs to grow a pair and put a stop to this, starting now.
One other question here , how many other EU countries has this been applied to , and what countries have got out of it, how ?

Thanks for the link , I listened to all of it. I have to say that he talks pure common sense, no outside agenda , no being swayed by outside influences and let the results talk for themselves AND he certainly doesn't pull any punches when it comes to his views on other peoples statements.A true scientist. He said that because of the way things are ( in a good way ) here in the UK as far as vaping are concerned , that we are like a torch bearer worldwide for the industry and we need to show everyone what we already know , that E-Cigs are a LOT safer than stinkies. I've just posted a brand new track in the AAEC JUKEBOX thread ( Reply #1938 ) and seems to fit perfectly. Andy

My additions seem to come in pairs at the moment.
This is the new track from Nickelback called "Edge Of A Revolution". After listening to Dr Farsolinos on RY4 Radio ( well the playback ) , this seems like almost the perfect track for us at the moment.Even he said that the UK has a lot better laws than everyone else regarding vaping and people like Clive Bates really help our cause , but we need to keep going and have our concerns heard.Watch and enjoy and tag everyone you can.

When I went to the T-Juice stand at Vapefest , they were mixing , if I remember correctly 3 new liquids , for us to have and I was led to believe that these were going to be in the new line up.Nearly a month later and I haven't heard a thing about any of these. I particularly liked the " Gold 'n' Brown " , and this has now turned into my turn to evening vape and so now I'm running out , and I did take FULL advantage of going up more than once to get more.
Also , I can't find any review of this s well.I don't know if these were released to reviewers before the event , but I haven't seen any after the event either.
Many thanks.

Roscopecotrain , do you know where to get those fittings in the picture ( I presume its a 510 and a EGO thread ( and how they are connected to the wood ) and the 510 female fitting , which you can recess into the wood and how to fit that to ? This is no means going to be a piece that would rival any of his , I'm just looking to make a small stand for myself and maybe something a little different from the norm. Andy
