there may not be such a thing as a daft question but there is such a thing as a daft statement. I think I need to make sure ohms and watts are the right way round. I think I will switch to volts, I know what they are although not sure how to vape at a higher volts than the battery, I assume that my vamo has a built in inverter.  |

Just a quick update, new charger and new batteries purchased, torchy battery lasted from 5pm yesterday till 10pm tonight when I switched it. now more than happy with my vamo 5.

Hi all got home and ordered 2 batteries from torchys. charger I have is a trustfire tr 001 with ce and RoHS complience stickers although it was made in china

It's a steep learning curve for people like me. Impatient. Thanks for your advice I will order a new battery today. I am grateful for all the advice as I am the only person I know who has switched to vaping. Many of my smoker friends are watching my journey and are thinking about giving up their expensive stinkies.

Yes 8 watts not ohms. Bought from ebay tried a number of shops to buy batteries without success. The ecig shop in Colchester keeps nothing better than blisterpaks (mobile phone shop) and horrible juices (in my opinion)

tr 18650 4900 mah 3.7v li-ion and is blue in colour

Hi bengineer don't worry about the cost I have spent £100 in the last month would have spent £200 on cigarettes and you won't buy shiny toys every week......

Hi all
I just got my vamo v5 which came with a 4900 mah battery. I charged it last night and wore it out in 6 hours. Is this normal or do you think I have a dud battery. I only went through 2ml of juice at 8 ohm. I also kept gettin low load when I put my pro tank 3 on but was ok with a protank 2. One last question looked on ebay and batteries have many different mah ratings. What is right?
Sorry to ask so many daft questions but did look through threads and couldn't find answers

Hi hairyscotsman,
I am no expert, 3 week newbie but I leave mine sealed and just put them in a cupboard for a week, try them and then if I dont like them put them back for another week. dont know if this is right but it works for me and after 10 days my coconut juice went from ok to addictive

Hi all and thanks for your welcome, I live in essex I will update my profile as soon as I take a break from ordering all these new toys and juices.just one question.... are there any calories in juice (not when you drink it) if not it could help my weight as well as my smoking habit

Just a quick hello to introduce myself, I gave up smoking 3 weeks ago and have become the worst reformed smoker and highest praiser of vaping imaginable.
I have tried a number of juices from joose juice and after leaving them for a week find the coconut to be my daily vape. I am using an ee2 with a protank 3 (already upgraded from ego CE4 that I started with 3 weeks ago). Now looking to try a vamo 5 with my protank. still cheaper than 20 a day (just).Have found all the info on this site really helpful and will be following peoples threads and as I learn hopefully share my knowledge when I get some.
