Morning , quick progress report, dad went from about 8.30 last night till about 9.30 this morning without a roll up  am very proud of him, he is away out into the yonder with the spinner should be a sight to behold and I imagine he will get some strange looks but hey ho its much better than the roll ups |

Thanks pep I am going to ease into juice making slowly but deffo want to make soft mint so as i use JJ I thought if I bought the nic base and flavour from there I would stand a better chance of it being if not the same very simillar, will order now and ask for his help (if jim has time as I noticed JJ is going to be closed from tues). Just noticed JJ only sells 54mg nic base so I may have to buy the base from elsewhere

Thanks for that babs what size needles do I need or is it best to get a couple of different sizes. I have got some bottles ordered from FT but not sure on delivery times yet so will look into getting some more (i am also saving my used bottles from the ready made juices)

Hi thanks for the reply its a 50/50 mix and it's 12 mg nic i am vaping from JJ think this is what is confusing me as to what nic base will be best.

Morning all, I want to start mixing my own juice my question is is it better to buy a starter kit or better to buy everything seperate ? for example do I buy the stuff in super shiny's guide with some PG and VG off amazon (seems to be a good price) am thinking of getting the nic base from JJ with the soft mint flavouring (use this lots) and a few more flavours (have read that it is easier to start with just one flavour at a time and to mix small amounts first).At the minute I am vaping 50/50 mix at 12mg strength of medium flavour so would like to keep at that ratio. Would i need to add a thinner to the stuff from amazon, and what is the best nic base PG or VG (this is the bit that confuses me I just cant seem to figure out which is better for the liquid i want to start making or am I overthinking it)
I have checked on some of the ready set up kits(some of the links no longer work but these are off threads a few years old I am really trying to get as much info before I start). Can anyone give me a list of what they have bought (recently) and where it was from be it either kits or seperate suppliers, sorry for the rambly post but I really want to give this a try and I trust your judgment/advice on what would be the best way to go I know it will be subjective and opinions will vary from person to person but I'm sure it will be easier than the info overload that is available.

I have just bought my dad a spinner 2 (chrome) and some tanks .................atm he is happily vaping soft mint with my hot pink spinner 2  if I can even help him half his 40 + a day roll up habit I will be a happy girl |

I was a 30+ a day smoker for 26 yrs with 4 breaks inbetween ranging from 9 months to 3 yrs (couldnt stop with 4th pregnancy  ) I smoked cheap cigs,roll ups and most lately duty frees ranging from £8 (backy) to £35 (rip offs). A friend gifted me a cig lookalike that has sat in the drawer for the past 4 years (its still there now  ), i got my first evod kit on the 5th of june and had my last cig on the 6th it's early days but have gone through a night out, a death at work (very upsetting he was a damn nice bloke), an appoint at drs (looking at another surgery) and my dad coming home with my cartons of cigs which are sitting on my table trying to tempt me (but I am past that) oh and people smoking around me both at home and work (blimey they stink) and the thought of having a cig hasn't really bothered me...............I'm in this for the long haul and I will do it. |

After a bi**h of a day yesterday I placed an order for a vamo v5 (from focal) then had a nosey around FT and ordered some drip tips, some tanks, an rda and a spinner like battery, am needing some batteries and a charger but may shop for them tomorrow. Am also thinking about making my own liquids when I can get my head round whats needed/how to do it so am "virtual shopping" for supplies.
