Finally got the boxes I ordered. Also some nice brass gold plated switches. I've had the SB non working for some months and by pure chance the gold plated switch was identical. So it would be rude as they say not to. I also had to strip the atty connector add a new seal and sort out a short. However now it is working and looking rather nice. Thinking of offering a gold plated switch and atty refit deal, lol for £20 including recorded return postage. The box I'm also rather pleased with and will be ordering more. Fitted with the gold plated switch it works like a charm. 510 fitting and ATM only a 14500 IMR. I have been talking to the bloke who makes the boxes and given specs for a 18650 version. So I hope they will be coming soon. Another pic

Thanks all who voted. Just got this mail from my mate.
Thanks very much to those who voted for Sophie in the AAA Junior Athlete of the year, she got 33% of the votes, just 2% behind Jodie Williams who won.
She didn’t mind loosing too much to Jodie, who at 18, was probably the only junior on the list many people will have heard of as she’s already UK’s number one sprinter and a possible Olympic finalist later in the year.
The big target this summer for Sophie is the world Junior Championships in Barcelona, which is a bit closer than Trabzon last year, and hopefully cheaper for the parents too !!!!!

Found a way to make a very easy drip adapter mate. Take a 701 screw tip. Cut off the mouth bit right on the ridge between mouth bit and screw thread. File down a few mm and take a few microns from the inner bit. keep test fitting for drip tip. Works well and for the cost of a cart. Not metal but all I had to work with.

I've left a 18500 battery in the mod for you Bel. + side must go towards the atty connection for the ego electronics to work. But you should be good to go when you get it.

Thanks all it was quite hard to put together. No pressure at all now it's a Bday pressie. I tried to be sympathetic with the coin and the lady on the 1 Franc coin looks like she's holding the atty connection. Was a right bugger to drill, lol

If I could I would mate. But just don't have that kind of tooling. I have only just got a bench drill that enabled me to make this. A lathe is on the list but every time I get within sniffing distance something else comes up. Alternator on the car this month, MOT and service, lol
ONE DAY I WILL HAVE ONE.

Sorry some more teasing V2 made and slightly shorter. The 1st one vaped carts dry however had the odd dry spot. So shortened the atty and so far no dry spots. This time is's a sort of copper colour. The reason I won't make them for sale is that I need the screw thread from the 701 cigar atty for the cart. Only had 2 dead attys, lol So that's me lot. Might work a little on it though to see what is possible.
