The Stick in Yellow Heart with a Zebra wood door. rrp $65 so about £40 ish ecigworkshop.com/node/145The Stick Personal Vaporizers are handmade using the wood type of your choice. They are made with a standard sealed 510 connector and use a 3.7v 18650 protected lithium-ion battery. The battery charge will last about 1 to 2 days depending on how much you vape. The wood is sealed with wood wax to bring out the beautiful grain. To keep your Personal Vaporizer looking new we recommend using wood wax every 2 weeks or so. Asking £35 including recorded postage and a 18650 battery.

If they are getting that hot I would suggest you may have a short. Can you vape when the button is pressed? And a little more info might help on when they get hot?
Regardless of the above I would not be using or charging those batts mate. Getting that hot is just not right tbh.

Nice thread. I find some will fall apart some will need a nuke. Once the body fails the internals can be quite useful, lol A great pictorial of the breakdown.

Some of the riva, ego type batts regulate the voltage. If you have one of this type you will just see the regulated output no drop off on the meter.

Interesting thread. It you were to go down the insurance route Public liability will get you no where if you were to be sued tbh. What you would need to look at if to go down this route is product liability insurance. I have spoken many times with my local trading standards office about the mods I sell and this is what they tell me. You only have to look at the recent issues in the US with the exploding mod and the court case that will follow. We did cover this on VTTV a while ago.
What you have to think about is, anyone on a forum can be as nice as they come, and we are nice let's face it, lol However most modders will tell you the 1st thing that gets the blame is the mod. I've had mods back that work fine only to find the users battery was dead, lol. Crushed connectors, etc etc the list goes on. But the mod is the thing that gets the blame 1st.
Despite all the safety you can build in there is the chance that something could go wrong. And if someone looses a finger the 1st port of call will be the person who made the mod. It would be down to the mod maker to prove user error, battery fault etc. This is what is currently is going on at the moment in the US How we choose to protect our interests is down to the individual, there are no set rules yet.....

The out side shot 1st. And the mint tin had a new gold plated SB button. A little side shot. So I got bored after playing with Sav's SB and decided to twin 18650 a lava tube. Ripped his guts out and made him twin 18650 mint tin. Will work with one or two 18650's in the tin. With two OMG. The 1st turn on. Showing at 3v's as it should. And at 5v Again OMG with twin 18650's this thing kicks some ar5e. Took a while and some fine glasses to get the solder in the right places, lol However in the end beer and chance won the day. Forgot to add it's rather tight in there.
