This has been sold over on UKV pending payment. Once completed, I'll remove the thread.
Thanks anyhow.

Have traded the Don over on UKV, so I only have this left for sale. The previous trade thread has been deleted. Touchwood 18650 Mint condition Touchwood suitable for use with 18650 batteries. Fits well in the hand, and the wood has a wonderful colour to it that sets off the brass nicely. Has a 510 connector, and tanks (such as the ACTv3) look very nice on board. RRP - £85 + postage Looking for £80 including postage and PayPal fees. PM if interested. Thanks.

If only the hard drive is damaged it will still post and display hard drive error... Depending on the BIOS/EFI, a SMART error can also hang the POST process.

The English/Scottish rivalry has been going on for centuries - first the battlefield, and now in sport. Frankly, the English haven't enamoured themselves in the past with the Scots - but that is history. There is nowt wrong with a bit of rivalry in sport, and I'll always support England over Scotland in a competition. However, if it was just Scotland in a competition, I would support them over the rest of the world. It's just one of those things really. Quite sad. And what is sadder is watching interviews with Scottish fans who claim that England banging on about '66 is why they choose 'anyone but England'. Their choice, of course, but quite petty in reality. Anyhow, Team GB all the way!

Oh - one more thing. I've been told by my insurance company that expensive items need to be listed - and they include computers and laptops in that. Hope that doesn't become an issue.

I agree with Macca - it's possible that the RAM has dislodged. I know you said that the beep is continuous, but do you hear different lengths and pitches in the beep? Something like: Beeeeep - beep - beep . . . beeeeep - beep - beepfor one long beep with two short ones RAM tends to be fairly obvious (well, to the trained ear anyhow), but the hard drive might have been damaged if it was on while dropped too. Double check the battery is seated correctly. Of course, you could take the hit on the insurance too.

Good going Matt - took me 3 months to get the Provari (although I did get a Lavatube for chrimbo). Yes - the Don in short mode is quite good, isn't it? One of the smallest devices I know of.

It seems to be AAEC when I checked. Proboards.com stays up all the time, AAEC doesn't. Kinda sucky.
