can everyone take a look at the pic again please.... if THIS battery was in THIS mod in that same orientation then its bloody in wrong! that said it says it has protection against inserting battery wrong The pic in the OP the mod is upside down you can see the - symbol, the burning was at the negative end you can see the + & - symbols clearly in the pic I posted from the Barsardo review ans the soot is at the negative end of the battery. i know the mod is upside down bud but if the battery was in the way its depicted in the pic then thats the pos end next to the neg end ? |

That's just darn right dishonest and disgusting. I wonder if the buyer can put in a paypal claim, if the seller has indeed lost the receipt and can't prove it was even sent then paypal would refund the buyer no problem, unless you can't claim under friends and family :\ Also check the payment emails and account details to get the sellers address and pay him a "friendly" visit  *Knock Knock* "Yes, can I help you?." "Special delivery for Mr Scum Bag." "Yes that's me." *Punch* "Sign here!." cant claim if F+F has been used which to be blunt is the whole point of the thread......he has 8 rep points and to what i can see only 2 are a result of a sale...his profile is still active whilst this is ongoing and still hope this may get resolved...if not just for rich but for the community as a whole POTV a great bunch of people thats for sure |

a point to maybe note too is the gear that is getting sold on UKV.... like it or not but the clones have gotten so good in these days that ukv banned there sale.....so its generally higher end gear that is getting sold...i always send first recorded but that only gives you cover up to £50....given the cost of high end gear it will usually be special delivery that is required in order to cover the value should it get lost.....so to skimp to such a degree is in my mind disgraceful on such priced items. this though still skirts the issue that the buyer was naive (sorry rich), and the seller was naive daft enough to post without any protection... POTV are a great bunch and will be starting a whip round...but again it doesnt make the actions right  |

f+f has its place.....its something that can save you a few quid and reputation is everything over on ukv i think....just cos they 'say' you cant do it doesnt stop it from happening with at leadt 25% of transactions id say....having been a member on there for years and built up a good rep you get to know who you can trust or not.
just because the rule is in place doesnt mean it cant be abused...or used as i think its a good tool to use with someone you trust.
Rich is a good guy and feel sorry for him...the other guy is a complete tool for not using correct postage in the first place and even more for not sorting the problem...even if it was his mrs its still his responsibility
