weewah A from me too. The great thing about this forum is we've all been where you are now, we have made the mistakes and we have found the solutions so you don't have to make them, we can help guide you through especially as a new Vaper. You have received a lot of advice and I am pretty sure your head is spinning taking it all in. To summarise: A good place to start is to get an Evod kit from Myepack HEREThis has everything you need to get you going and enough replaceable colis to last a couple of months at least. If you don't have a wall charger with a USB output a good idea is to get another one like THISJuices
JoosJuice - are cheap and a reasonable quality and can be foud HERE HOWEVER anything other than a menthol flavour is fresh mixed and ideally needs a week or 2 to "Steep" (mature) before they are at their best, this is common with some juice manufacturers. LT ECigs - Are also reasonably priced you can find them HEREI'd recommend you get 3 or 4 flavours at first a couple of tobacco and a couple of other flavours (mint/menthol/fruit). At 18mg strength. While you may seem to spend a fair bit when you first start the savings come after you get your kit and provided you're not tempted to try everything out there (a problem for some members on here!) The Evod kit/batteries (other than consumables) should last a year at least. One last thing, where are you? We have regular meet ups all over the country and a hour spent with an experienced Vaper can really help when you first start out. Good luck, and remember the only stupid question s the one you do not ask! Thank you DiscoDes for the welcome......I seem to be doing a hell of a lot of thanks on here ......I'm just overwhelmed by the members that have helped me so far. I'm up in the NW

One wee tip, and I hope our resident lurking vendors dont mind me saying Instead of heading out to to a nearby vape shop, do some research on the internet and pick a buy from there. Vape shops do have overheads, so their goods which are very good, also have to support their overheads... so cost a bit more. You can get good vaping gear from net-only shops cheaper. Check the vendors sites here on this website for some great deals, and discount coupons that make it even cheaper! Means waiting for postie to drop it off, but us vapers are used to it, we call it 'vapemail' Cheers dave......There's no way I was ever going to do it local. I mean some of my local shops think a good deal is 1x pen in a kit with a usb charger a case & instructions for 32 quid!! Never going to happen especially now that, from what I've learnt on here in such a short space of time, there are vape pens out there 2x in a kit with all the extra's cheaper!! I'll have a look at that suggestion you've made about the vendors on here......Thanks

We'll have you mixing soon then lol. That works out very very cheap and no waste any rank mixes shove menthol in and it's ok(ish) Oooooh I'm pretty partial to mental menthol..lol So what do you mix 'em in babs?.......is it just trial error or are there specifics?........ I thought I'd be crawling on here but it looks like I've entered a marathon...ahaha

weewah - the top pic is a CE4 clearomisers. These are usually disposable, so you throw the whole lot away when it wears out. They are also crap, so dont waste your money on them. The bottom pic is an evod. These have replaceable coils, so you just change the coil unit inside the tank when the flavour goes off. Evod heads are available everywhere, including MyEpack as linked above. The evod is a decent tank. Cheers my friend.......And there was I worrying over getting started all wrong Thanks for your valued advice

If you decide to go for the Evod kit weewah (great starter kit BTW) don't throw away them coil heads, they can be re-coiled, so save them if you might one day want to make your own microcoils. Microcoils (with cotton wool wick) give a far better vape and taste over the stock coils and are cheap to make. But that's for another day, get yourself set-up first. Aha......Sounds like my kind of gig......I'm your typical meddler, hate throwing stuff that might be useful away. I'm glad I stumbled across this forum if only to rub shoulders with people in the know......55 years old & this fella's still learning!! I'm getting even more excited at becoming a Vaper.....Gotta get onto it as soon as

Hi weewah the 1st photo looks like an ebay cheap kit with disposable tank. The evod kit is made by kanger and you just replace the head. This is inside and just unscrew and pop in a new one the coils as the head is called is very readily available search for kanger protank coils. Once you are experienced you can remake the coils for pence. The ready made coils are around £1.99 and last quite a while usually at least a week probably longer. The kanger protank min 2 is very similar to the evod but made in Pyrex which a lot of people prefer. Hi Babs.......It's rather a large piccy I must say and doesn't do itself any favours at all.......Your words of wisdom helped me greatly because I'm now shuffling along towards the Evod as it seems very popular and me being a 'meddler', I quite fancy having little bits and pieces to replace from time to time ......So thanks for your help on that

weewah - I forgot to say that I was lucky in that I didn't go down the shinyitis route & was very sensible in my choices, keeping it to a bare minimum throughout my 3 month stint as a vaper I am sure that a couple of people on here will try to disagree with what I just said but lalalalalala not listening lalalalala If you want spicy flavours, try "Hellfire" - it's moderately spicy & gives a interesting throat hit ooooooo you big fibbah!!!! Hello and weewah I haven't been here all that long myself and still ask a lot of questions, everyone is very friendly and helpful I'm sure you'll be set up and vaping in no time. Aww thank you........I'm full of all sorts of questions

Right lad's & lasses.......The 1st photo has a tank looking thing clearomiser? with something inside of it. 1)Do you keep the tank & replace the innard's or do you replace the whole thing 2) The 2nd piccy is an Evod. Is this the same principle or different and if it's a case of replacing the clearomiser? are they coloured Are these things readily available?

Hi everyone, I've decided to kick smoking in the head after a long long time. I never fancied the patches, the gum or anything the doctor recommends, I just want a substitute that is healthier and more people friendly. A friend of mine is still using his after 14 months but he says it's his dummy & will keep on using it even though he's down to the weakest nicotine strength. My cousin & wife used theirs constantly for 6 months and only use theirs now very occasionally, so I can see that the E-Cigs really do work. So now I'm on the hunt for a starter kit but with so many out there my head's in a spin. Could any of you 'hardcore' vaping experts give me any help as to what to look at, what to look for, pro's, con's, where to buy, best juices, what strength, flavours etc......I'm a roll my own, 20 a dayer and I really don't have a clue where to start with the vaping adventure, although I'm a little apprehensive, I'm also a little excited at the prospect of dragging myself into the non smoking 21st Century!! Thanks in advance Shaun Big welcome to you Shaun, you won't regret coming here, everyone has been so friendly and helpful to me, I've learned lots of valuable tips in one week. I smoked roll ups for over 40 years but haven't even felt tempted to go back to smoking since I switched to vaping last weekend. There are so many options out there, far more than I ever imagined but someone here will always be on hand to help if you get overwhelmed. I'm too new to advise you on what to choose but one mistake I made was that when I bought my first started kit I only bought tobacco flavour juices, I wrongly assumed I would need just tobacco to ward off the cravings. You do need SOME tobacco flavours, but I would suggest including a few others as well, such as fruit, coffee, minty, depending on your taste. That way you will have your tobacco replacement and you can try mixing a few drops of another flavour with it so see how you like it. Just as an example - I'm mixing Virginia tobacco with a few drops of cappuccino and a few drops of vanilla. The figuring out of which to mix and having something to do with your hands actually helps distract you from wanting to smoke, or at least that's what has helped me. You will get the hang of it in no time and never look back. Congrats on deciding to make the switch Thank you very much SD.......A similar story to mine (length of time on the cigs)......It's nice to be in the company of other's that have similar need's & craving's and are/have done something about it by going on the E-Cigs........I feel quite at home already but I'm still smoking!! But that'll change by next week with all you guys willing to help and advise
