This is gonna sound a bit weird, for various reasons but I'm drinking Baileys with a dash of vodka in it and vaping my usual Menthol Tabac and it tastes very much like Golden Virginia..... ???

It's a bit pricey, but I'm inclined to agree with you. Not really, that plus a couple of bottles of juice www.vapeescape.co.uk/menthol-tabac~231 (my personal choice) and she'd be set for a month or so and it'd still be under £70 using the 10% dissy code If I'd known that 6 months ago, and if the Visions were available, I'd have saved myself a small fortune Having said all that, I appreciate everyone has diffierent tastes/expectations and has to go through their own learning curve.

Agree with you womble, I've tried a few different carto's etc since taking up vaping 6 months ago and think these are the bees knees! Maybe a couple of extra holes at the bottom (battery end) would improve soaking...perhaps a vendor could have a word with the manufacturer?

Has anyone tried this? www.vapeescape.co.uk/echo-variable-voltage-kit-black-or-steel~270I'm going to be in the market for new kit soon. I was looking at the Lava Tube but it seems a bit pricey and faffy for my liking, still not sure about battery sizes etc, just want to plug & play! Somewhere around the 40 quid mark would be plenty. I have a Riva 1100 ATM and think it's great, the only real problem I have with it is first thing in the morning, when it's fully charged, it's too strong but by mid afternoon it's dropped off a bit and could be doing with a boost, so I reckoned Echo VV would be a good solution ??? I've noticed the battery is only 650mah on this but I can usually get a good couple of days out of my Riva if I need to, but tend to charge it every night anyway. That said, I think my Riva may only be 650mah because I hooked it up to a multimeter and (not having a clue how the multimeter works with so many settings to choose from all in some foreign language) one of the figures it displayed was 650 +/- but that's by the by. I wouldn't say I was a heavy vaper, I tend to use a high nic juice (30mg) so I don't need to puff away all day and probably go through about 15ml a week. Any advice on the Echo VV would be much appreciated

I'm on my second full day with mine now and have to say I'm loving it. Haven't had any probs that weren't my own fault. I didn't let it soak for long enough before I first used it, probably only about 20 mins, but by the next morning it was great. Been using Kangers up till now and although they are good, the vision seems to give a slightly better taste, and you can see when it needs topped up instead of topping up all the time and wasting juice. I've only used about 2-3ml in the last 2 days, normally it would have been 4-5ml. The only thing is I need to remember to leave it lying on its side so it soaks through the wick, could maybe do with 2 more holes at the bottom?

Mmmmm might try them new Visions, got mine yesterday (2.1+ohms) and I'm quite impressed with it so far. I hope they last coz they're a bit pricey for my PP account considering I've got about 5 months worth of Kangers lying about. Might have to look for that trade thread...

I've averaged about £10 a week over the last 6 months, roughly the same as when I smoked rollies, but now that I kind of know what I like that should come down a bit. Don't miss the stained fingers lack of breath climbing stairs etc etc...can't really put a price on that! Still trying to convince my OH to give up the fags but she's too stubborn

I've had my Riva 1100 for about 6 months now and it's still going strong for now, but I'm looking to get a VV as a replacement. I have about 20+ Kanger LR carto's (510 threads) which are perfect for me and was looking for a VV device which would suit them....any ideas?

Just back from Las Vegas flying BA Edinburgh to Heathrow to McCarran and back and never had any probs. I put my Riva 1100 in my fiance's hand bag going through security on the way out just incase (I had a spare in hold luggage) but on the way back I put it in the tray, nobody said anything. I didn't advertise the fact I was puffing away but I did tell surrounding passengers what it was just for etiquette's sake. On the return leg I did notice an American asking airport staff at Heathrow if it was OK to use his and they gave him the nod as if it was a common question asked.
