I've put in dual coil with a target resistance of 1.5 ohms. The .25 mm kanthal is all I have at present. If I change it to 2mm it still comes out at 13/14 wraps? I'm confused! Change it to single coil as I assume you are building one microcoil?

Whay target resistance did you put below the gauge you selected?
make sure you click next before going to the coil building page as that adjusts the wire length which is not correct in your screen shot

Make sure you have put the correct gauge wire in the previous section of the app (wire cutter bit)
My guess is you have it set to a really low gauge. It carries the wire gauge from the previous section onto the one you are on.

Temperature control aside as an 80w mod with built in battery is it worth getting? I need a backup as the missus has nicked the m65 already.

Seeing as I was nearly out of juice and I have over indulged in my chefs vapour order recently yesterday was a day of mixing.
I seem to have lost interest in the elaborate mixes containing all manner of different concentrates so just made up a load of 30ml bottles of one shot mixes. On the menu was.....
Capella glazed chocolate donuts - mixed at 15% but needed sweetener so added 1.5%
Capella orange and mango - mixed at 15%. Very sweet but nice. Probably not one to vape too much at a time as the sweetness is almost too much
Capella cappuccino - needs a good steep. Mixed at 15%
Pure perfection Crimson Tide - mixed at 20%. My current ADV and looks like staying that way
Pure perfection Chocolate digestive - mixed at 15%. Needed sweetener so added 1%. Nice but needs a steep.
Pure perfection pear drops - mixed at 15%. Just like the sweets. Very nice.
T juice red astaire - mixed at 20%. Nothing more to say here
So I am stocked up on various juices for now. Although I probably won't like any of the when I try them again!

In the m65's defense it is a nice looking mod which does work well. I personally don't mind the wattage drop thing as I can just put it on charge and use another mod or use it on pass through.
I have 3 smok tanks here to review too that I am undecided on too.
They seem to be trying to fill the gap between the quality products from aspire/kanger etc and the cheap crap that is available. Their pricing is right but just need to get the products 100% right.

Mine drops the wattage when it reaches about 40% battery. If using the atlantis @30w it drops it to 25w. With a subtank @19w it dropped to 10w so no set % drop.
I have done the reset and it is still doing it. If you turn the wattage back up it just drops it again.
It is a little annoying but i suppose it it supposed to save the battery. Although I wonder why, if this is really necessary, all regulated mods do not have this.
Mine does not seem to be temperature related as it does it wherever I am.
I have tried a vtc5, vtc4 and efest purple and all do it.
I was just about to order the m80 too but am put off by recent threads.....
